His arm talent is insane. He can make throws only a few other guys ever could. He also has a legit coach who is going to get as much as possible out of him.

Inaccuracy is his biggest issue, and that hasn’t been fixed yet.

Bears fan here. Still think we should have traded the pick for a haul and drafted a different QB. Caleb had a good day, but he isn't it. There's just something about him. All the tools, but just doesn't have that it factor. You know it when you see it. I don't see it.

Why do you hate commas?

I have a feeling that the teams that beat the Giants, get overconfident and get their shite pushed in the next week.

Week 1
Washington 21
NY 6

Week 2
Green Bay 27
Washington 18

Week 2
Dallas 40
NY 37

Week 3
Chicago 31
Dallas 14

So, that means KC is going to shite the bed against the Ravens. Mark it.

So far Caleb deserves neither the hype nor the hate.

Unfortunately a by product of the current media landscape. 24/7 sports coverage was bad enough but throw in social media and hype gets out of control which leads to hate.

being drafter ahead of an LSU guy, Caleb is never going to be a board favorite.

This gets to the point of why some see it as a zero sum. Only 1 guy can be drafted first but multiple guys can be good even great players if you are a fan of one no need to disparage the other

When a player is labeled “generational” people are going to expect results and some game winning moments. None of which Caleb has been able to produce until yesterday against probably the worst defense in the league.

Justin Fields threw for over 280 yards and 4 TDs vs the Skins a few years ago as a reminder. And looked absolutely elite for a game

It’s a meaningless term used to generate “clicks” at this point. Among other things we need to go back to teaching basic vocabulary so people learn what words mean. Also a lot of times these terms get tossed around by people of message boards or twitter not professional scouts kinda silly to hold to the player to a standard of no bodies with no accountability

He had more good games than that one he showed flashes in 22 and 23, who knows what he could have done with better coaching/weapons. He was actually pretty good in Pittsburgh last year. Health though is an issue. That said it made sense for Chicago to go with Williams, he’s a better passer and overall prospect plus they reset the rookie deal, they would have had to extend Fields.

The pairing of CW with Ben Johnson has huge potential, maybe even to the moon but let's see more performances like that, stacking up wins.

A good day on Sunday though.
