Not trying to delve into soccer debate

I want to know if there has ever been a trick play in any major sport that was as consequential as Liverpool's corner kick to usher them into the Champion's League Final

Barca literally looks like a bunch of damned fools being sent home for not paying enough attention.

Video of the play

I'm not sure what the consequences were because . . . soccer, but Boise State vs. Oklahoma statue of liberty play reshaped how mid-majors were viewed in major college football. May or may not be as consequential as this . . . but I don't soccer.

They were already up by 3 with 78 minutes played.

I thought about that when I created this thread. Had the BSU/OU trick play happened in the CFB semifinals I would have put it on par with this trick play

I'd argue Eagles double pass and Patriots fake bad snap 2 point were more consequential.

It was already 3-0... so was it really that consequential?

It was the second leg and 3-3 aggregate before that goal

Good example. that play wasn't the "winning" play like this one but it certainly propelled the Eagles to their victory

I'm a pretty good sports fan and I have no idea what that is, so calling someone stupid for not knowing is a little over the top.

Imagine the World Series being only two games.

A home game for each team

You decide the Champion by who scores the most runs combined over those two games

You’re going to have to explain the consequences to me and others.

Score was 3-0 and went to 4-0. I’m guessing there’s more behind it
