I’m an OU fan and I hate Liverpool. This thread sucks.

I’m surprised there are so many soccer fans on the MSB to rack up the downvote numbers on the first page

Alright hit me

Yeah, it's really odd that fans of one sport enjoy other sports.

Skip Bertman's call to use a trick play in the college world series was huge.

You're comparing college baseball to The Champions League? The CL is by far the biggest yearly competition in the world. It isn't close.

Just didn’t realize the sport had grown so much on here since I joined.

I’m a South Carolina alum and fan and still can’t get into college baseball

I give y’all credit who do

Especially now living up here, i enjoy sports discussed around.
Literally every sport but that one is

I'm an LSU fan and enjoy their baseball program. But in the overall landscape of sports, college baseball is not even a blip on the radar.

It was the second leg and 3-3 aggregate before that goal

I have no clue what that means and this is another reason why most American sports fans will never like soccer. Every other sport on the planet can be tunes in at any time and you look at the scoreboard and immediately know what’s going on. My initial thought was “ well that’s not consequential at all, 3-0 with almost no time left. That game was already over”, yet it obviously means something different.

I mean, the aggregate score is literally underneath the match score during the broadcast.

I think it’s a pretty genius way to level the playing field

They were down 3-0 after the first game, and they advance to the finals after 4-0 win. (with a trick play on the 4th goal). What are the odds?

I believe Liverpool were 20/1 to advance

You still have to win or score more road goals in two draws to advance, so what's the problem?

Dissing the sport because you don't know the rules doesn't make you look cool, it makes you look ignorant. Ignorant people get down votes.

I don’t like the away goal rule because i think it makes teams play conservatively

Imagine thinking there's not enough scoring in soccer, and then not liking rules that encourage teams to score more.

In Barcelona’s case yesterday they definitely did.
Liverpool played the exact opposite because they needed to score 4 to win

I don't see why the away goals rule made Barcelona play conservatively. If they would have just scored one goal, it would have killed just about all morale for Liverpool.

Barcelona just played timid and slow. Same exact thing happened last year against Roma.
