I canceled the NFL when Daddy Trump told me to.

This. Ruined the NBA for me too. No traveling or carrying the ball. Everything is a foul if it's against the right people. Too much oversight of the refs getting injected into every game.

Saints fans suddenly losing interest once the Saints suck again.

Who didn’t see this coming?

Officiating and the rule book have both ruined the game.

I don’t have the same interests in pro sports since the players I grew up with retired. I still watch the games but I don’t have the same passion for it. College football is the only thing I still have passion for.

This.

I haven't watched a NFL game in 4 years. I used to watch all of the games and watch college basketball, the NHL and some MLB along with college football of course.

I'm down to only college football but even then I probably only watch 2 games a week.

Wait, I thought Trump cancelled the NFL. They're still playing? Imagine that.

I was a Saints season ticket holder, now its a 50/50 shot at best if I turn the TV on if they are playing.

Too many tight formations these days. I miss the days of wide open GSoT. I hated those St. Louis teams, but I respect the scheme.

Everything is played too tight now in the NFL. Tennessee (UT) spreads it out and I love it.

Yep quit watching when all the anti American shite was going on. I'll watch the Bengals because of JB.

I was a long time Saints fan damn near cried when they won the Superbowl, now I don't care if they ever win a game.

Same here bruh... Glad to know I'm not the only one. Honestly wouldn't care if the Saints NEVER played another game.

I cut back about 75% of watching time more than 10 years ago when the NFL was going through the no fun league moment and Goodell was being a tyrant towards celebrations. From then it went closer to 85% and after the BLM to 95%. Havent watched a full game all year and many minutes overall.

The thing is once you stop watching you dont know the players anymore, and once you dont know who is on what team, they are nothing more than bright colors and mascots. And you no longer care.

You want to rip your hair out watching an over officiated game watch college basketball. Those refs are the absolute worse in any sport. You can't even put a hand on someone's back without being called for a foul. There games all the time where one team will shoot 30+ free throws and the other team shoots like 6. There is zero consistency. No fouls in first half then second half there's fouls on every single possession. It's insane.

I’m a casual fan. Follow my fantasy teams and Bama players but that’s about it.

I havent watched a full game since probably 2019, maybe before.

Definitely feel the same way as you for a variety of reasons, but at the end of the day its just not that interesting and a drain on my Sunday

If I could blame some low hanging fruit: replays, over officiating and their contribution to otherwise slow gameplay just provides no rhythm and becomes boring. I'm not a big soccer fan but find when its on my eyes are glued to it because of the inherent rhythm of the running clock. Sometimes 20 minutes can go by with like 2 plays run. College doing the same thing.

I’m enjoying watching Joe Burrow and the Bengals. Almost feels like watching an LSU game.

These are really the only games I watch, for the same reason.
