I definitely should have conned the astros into drafting me in the 50th round out of high school back in the day

Yes, this is the same reason I recommend annuity payout for lottery winners.

I personally think most every athlete is grossly overpaid.
But, I also believe in a fair market and if owners are willing to pay, it's OK with me.

I don't care what anyone says, it's still the greatest contract of all time.

It’s deferred income rather than a structured settlement annuity. My thought would be that it still pays out to the heirs.

Greatest contract ever.

I'm a long suffering fan since 1970. We're continually a stupid franchise. Latest exhibit was watching Soto's half-arse effort in left field this week. It's a clown show.

Bruce Sutter Lifetime Contract With Atlanta Braves was better.
For the retards who keep this lie going.

The Braves agreed to pay sutter $1.12 million annually for the next 30 years, with the last payment of $9.1 million in principal due in 2022

bonilla negotiated a 25-year deferred payment plan worth roughly $29.8 million in total

Bobby Bonilla needs to renegotiate the last 9 years, maybe $500,000 per year to him/family to 2100 so the Mets can make it a 100 year deal
