Griz win in 6. They are scary good on defense, and the inside presence of Gasol-Randolph will destroy Miami

the NBA would never allow this. Miami makes way too much money for the league and to be quite honest, they can't afford for that to happen. the script was written at the beginning of the season. Miami will be gift wrapped another championship.

Ick I fricking hope not. Memphis is the only team in the NBA I hate worse than Miami. I really don't want to have to pull for the Heat to win.

No. You know oddsmaker have a Grizz-Heat matchup with MIA being favored to win 75% of the time.

I'm probably the biggest Marc Gasol fan on the MSB, but that is very unlikely.

Miami is 45-3 over their last 48 games dating back to February. I don't see any team beating them 4 times in 7 games.

That said, I am pulling for the Grizz and the town of Memphis. If there were ever at town that needs a shot in the arm, it's Memphis. I love that town and want it to succeed.

Rooting for the Grizz all the way. There's no way I'd watch the finals if the Spurs were to make it. Boring arse team to watch. Hopefully the Warriors take care of them.

since trading rudy gay, memphis has the third best winning percentage (including playoff games) in the leaguve (MIA is #1 on that list, nuggets 2nd).

I don't think memphis has enough offense to win the series, and the 2-3-2 format really favors the team with home court -- it almost gurantees the griz (or anyone else) will have to close out in Miami, b/c there's no way they're losing in 5 games.

This is what I have been looking at. If they haven't even lost 4 games in their last 48 games I doubt they are going to lose 4 out of 7 to anyone.

Spurs haven't been "boring" since '05/'06.

I think Memphis would make it a series. They have the bigs to make some noise. And no one on Miami can guard Conley. Also, Memphis has two guys they could put on LeBron and bother him in Allen and Prince. The problem is if any of them get in foul trouble due to LeBron flopping around like a fish out of water, they'll be in trouble.

It would likely be 4-1 Miami in my opinion. You would see a lot more of the bird man that's for sure

But Pacers vs Grizzlies? frick that shite

The ratings would be terrible. I'm pretty sure Stern won't let that happen. Miami is coming out of the East even if LeBron has to shoot 100 free throws a night to make it happen.

The Heat have to get by the Pacers first

Not saying they wont, but it wont be as easy as most think...

Grizz are a healthier, better version of Chicago.

Unless their outside shooters go nuts, Miami has already shown it can adjust to take out good interior presence. I'm sure Grizz would win a game, but 2 or more is doubtful.

The problem wouldn;t be Allen or Prince getting in foul trouble, its Zbo and Gasol.

As many advantages as there are for Memphis to have 2 bigs to score on offense, when the Heat play with their small lineup, its a pretty big disadvantage on defense.

I'm hoping for Memphis to win. I think it will be a close series.

Thing is... Zach Randolph is no Carlos Boozer. Marc Gasol is healthier and bigger than Joakim Noah.

I'd say right now, given Wade's health, the Heat will win in 7 games.

I really hope you aren't comparing Noah and Boozer to Z-bo and Gasol, the grizz are so much better than Chicago right now it's silly, I can really see a Grizz-Heat finals going 7 or even Grizz in 6
