My apologies. I did not mean to sound insensitive, but after rereading my post I notice the way it sounded. Thanks for correcting me. Losing a loved one will always trump everything else.

God be with Pop and the family.

Actually would explain a lot of little stuff that's been out of character for Pop this year. Understandably.

Felt bad for Lebron on that issue.

She really put him on the spot.

After Googleing I was trying to wrap my head around Pop being married to a dwarf.

Yeah, ambushing LeBron with that news on live TV was pretty unprofessional. Lebron had a real emotional moment right then and there, that honestly no one needed to see.

Edit: Looks like they briefed LeBron before. retracting above statement.

doubt that he viewed his personal opinions as a 'meltdown', but americans, whether trump supporters or not, have a limited ability to understand that fact ... also doubt that he or most any other person with a decent intellectual ability would find it difficult to opine on politics at a given moment, other than their spouse's deathbed ... but again, i understand that many posters on the rant do not have that ability ... expressing an opinion different than your own is not 'venting' ...

it's expressing an opinion ...

Yeah, this almost explains why he has been so ornery this season. I’m not saying he was nice in front of cameras in past years, but if she has been sick for a while, I assume this was something they knew was on the horizon. If that’s the case, it’s just another reminder to him that basketball is trivial when compared to life and some social issues.

If this is what you're focused on right now, you're an a-hole

And the seeming lack of focus compared to past years that you could tell trickled down to the team a little bit.

Kudos to him. I'd be a fricking wreck and wouldn't want to even get out of bed in the morning, much less give a shite about work.

frick that's horrible. I disagree with his political stances on the regular, but he seems like a good guy and I only hope he makes it through ok.

Totally agree. We wonder if he’s been passive aggressive lately? Damn, I’d be angry and sad for a long period of time. Who knows how much the team knew...

That is sad news. I'm am amazed that Pop coached with all if this going on. I had no idea his wife was sick. Prayers.
