Serena Williams is the greatest tennis player ever and you’re a bigot if you disagree

I’ll admit I’m a little butthurt over Tiafoe not reaching the final, but I said before he beat Nadal that the US Open Finalist has an asterisk beside him unless he beats Joker.

Sampras is the GOAT because he retired when he knew he was done with it, and was still #1

Becker.

Kicked my arse right out of the sport, so I’m always taking him, even though there’s players with more titles.

I was rooting for Tiafoe too. He needs more variety of shots in his tool box instead of baseline to baseline and hoping for an unforced error. I'm not sold on his mental toughness yet.

Novak & Roger are ahead of Pete as far as overall skillsets using the whole court, longevity, & neutralizing an opponent's strength.

I did love watching Pete play though, just don't think he's the GOAT.

Sampras didn't do shite on clay. Wasn't his best performance at the French Open a semi final appearance? The big 3 are better all round players imho and any one of them deserve be GOAT.

I’m hard pressed to find someone better than Novak. Although Borg’s 11 grand slams before retiring at 26 makes him a definite contender.

Vitas Gerulaitis.

Why so? Because Nobody beats Vitas Gerulaitis 17 times in a row.

So says Vitas after breaking a 16-match long losing streak to Jimmy Connors.

These 3 are in the conversation; add Pete Sampras, probably the best hardcourt player ever.

He needs to learn how to get a first serve in too. Holy shite, tha was bad the other night.

Spot on with the rest of your assessment tho. He needs to move his opponent around more.

bullshite. Borg won 5 Wimbledons when grass was fast and 6 French’s at the same time. Nine of these guys did that.

So dumb. Pete had a 5 year stretch at the French where he made 3 quarters and 1 semi final. And he did that with an 85 square inch frame without these polyester bullshite strings and against absolute clay court specialist only
