I thought the general consensus was he was gone as soon as his kids were.

He just flipped Julian Lewis from USC who, if not for Bryce Underwood would be the No. 1 QB in the country. Prime is gonna be there for a while it seems

You can only play the schedule in front of you. Deion had a great year.

A great year? Its exaggerations like that that annoy people. Colorado was 8-3 going into this week, Syracuse was also 8-3 going into this week and had a much more difficult strength of schedule. Is anyone talking about how great of a season they are having?

Deion is a hype coach and that’s it. If it weren’t for his kids, he’d be having another losing season at CU.

The kids have to buy in.

Prime deserves credit. Anyone not willing to give it to him at this point is just being obtuse.

I’ll judge him once Hunter and Shadeur are gone. Seems he is riding their coattails from JSU to Colorado both against sub par competition.

Yeah. That's the talk I'm this echo chamber. Kid is going to be a franchise QB in the NFL.

Very good season for Colorado and Coach Prime. Never doubted you for a second.

Cuse's sos is worse but neither team's wins are over a bunch of worldbeaters. But was anyone calling Syracuse a trainwreck and begging for their downfall all offseason and into September? The expectations were for a complete dumpster fire but instead they had arguably their best season in a two decades. They deserve credit.

Looking at Colorado schedule. What’s their best win? They somehow avoided all the top teams in the conference - Arizona State, BYU, and Iowa State.

Hey, ronricks ... Did you not see their schedule when you posted earlier this season that Colorado would flame out and win no more than four games? Because the internet is forever. Do you want me to pull up your post and quote it or are you just trying to move the goal posts at this point?

It’s 56 vs 62, apparently I was looking at the incorrect rankings earlier. They are still very comparable, with one getting zero hype, and the other having casuals and the media slobbering all over them. Colorado’s sos is 56th out of the 67 P4 schools, and they still managed to lose 3 games. You know who else had really easy schedules? Miami (1 loss), SMU (1 loss), Indiana (1 loss). Hell Iowa State is in the Big12, has a better record than Colorado and a tougher sos and they are getting zero coverage.

ETA: the hype was so out of control last season after the TCU win, and then carried even further after they started 3-0. Idiots acting like they were this historically great team that had some sort of post season aspirations. Then the wheels fell off of their season, and everyone shut up about them. Now those same people are trying to come back the following season and take a victory lap on a 9 win season

What they've done this year is respectable to be sure.

Next year when he doesn't have Hunter and Shedeur we get to see how good of a coach he is.

Colorado lost 11 games by an average of 29 points the year before Coach prime took over. That's almost impossible. It was by far the worst p4 team in the country.

They just finished 9-3 with a 52-0 win over okie State in the regular season finale. This has been remarkable. And anyone who says it is not absolutely remarkable is just a hater and will find any reason not to give credit.

He is and he is feasting on subpar competition. Travis Hunter would shine on any team he plays on. Can’t say I can say the same about Shaduer.

"If it weren't for having good players, he'd be having another losing season" is a quote that can apply to most coaches ever.
