I've been a skeptic of his since last season but he's definitely done a solid job of turning around what was a dead program. He has revitalized that fanbase and brought butts back to the seats after years of apathy. Now they're about to be 9-3 with an outside shot at winning the conference while, at the same time, bringing the program its second ever Heisman Trophy.

Can he keep up this momentum? Only time will tell but he's certainly proved his ability of getting the players to buy in to what he's selling.

I think he is an arrogant tool, but i will give credit where it is due - he has turned CU around and having them playing great.

I thought the general consensus was he was gone as soon as his kids were.

I am pleased with the improvement this year. Not sure what happens next year but they should have a decent recruiting class and take advantage of the portal to reload.

They haven’t beat a legit good team all year.

Great improvement but let’s get this out the way, we knew the move to the big 12 without Texas and OU was perfect for this team. shite I can’t name a QB outside of Shedeur and Johnson from KState that’s worth a damn. The kid from Zona has totally regressed with the coaching change. This conference was ripe for the taking. Whoever gets to the playoffs is gonna get abused.

Colorado has had 1. 1 winning record since 2005 prior to this season. 1.

That’s it.

How did Ollie Gordon end up being so worthless? OSU was a favorite to win the Big 12 and went winless

I thought so too, but getting that QB Lewis over there for this class and how they turned that trash defense around in one year proves that he knows how to build a great coaching staff and they know how to bring in hungry players. If they can fix the OL problems, they'll run the Big 12.

Considering they've had two seasons above .500 in the last 20 that's beside the point. They were 1-11 two years ago. They're about to be 9-3. Poo poo their schedule all you want, but they weren't winning games against quality or shitty opponents prior to Sanders getting there last year.

I never said it wasn’t an improvement. Its the big sports pimping them like they are a playoff caliber team that wears thin.

Kudo’s to him winning 9 games and losing 3. But he walked into a weak conference too, can’t discount their schedule being very kind to them and allowing success.

I would venture had he played the same SEC schedule as OU, he goes 0-8.

I don't think anyone's doing that considering they're ranked #25 and likely won't even be able to play for their conference's championship.

I've waffled back and forth on Deion a bit, but I'll give credit where credit is do. He's done a commendable job with his team this year. Hunter probably deserves the Heisman, and the qb is pretty good.

I have no problem with Deion. Actually liked him when he played, especially baseball for my Reds. I thought after last year that Colorado was going to turn into a shitshow. I was wrong. Good job by Prime.

You can only play the schedule in front of you. Deion had a great year.

Exactly what I was thinking. It’s been a who’s who on the sidelines week to week. Feels like the 90’s Miami

People wouldn’t shite on them so much if the media and casuals didn’t act like they were a title contender these last 2 seasons. Are they a lot better than Colorado of the past 20 years? Yes. Are they a top 25 team? Probably not. They’ve beat up on terrible teams and lost to pretty much any team with a pulse this season. What’s their best win? Texas Tech?
