Lane Kiffin Responds After Dave Portnoy Says Michigan Should Go After Him

The big news of Wednesday evening was Michigan firing head coach Sherrone Moore for having an "inappropriate relationship with a staff member."

Well-known Michigan alum Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports responded to the news by tweeting that the Wolverines should go after new LSU coach Lane Kiffin.

Kiffin, who is very active on X, saw Portnoy's tweet and sent this response:

You really don't know why? Well, it's where Nick Saban got his start to greatness. But the real reason Lane has a hard on for LSU, Coach O. Kiffin seen what the possibilities can be at LSU after Coach O put together the greatest college football ever, and when the opportunity came up he jump all over it. And now with the advantages LSU gives Kiffin, he is on a mission to etch his name in the record books, he has a reputation as a great offensive mind, but he wants to be known as one of the greatest HC's of all time and he needs chips to do it.
