If Prince Avenue makes it to the finals, I think this would be the fourth straight year. They've won two of the last three.

Their QB, Arron Philo, has committed to GT.

It's possible we could have UGA vs GT/Vandergriff vs Philo matchups in the future.

That would be pretty cool for a Single-A private school to produce two state championship QBs who went on the be the starters at FBS in-state rivals.

They lost to Grayson last week 19-14.

Carrollton lost to Milton 56-35, Mill Creek lost to Camden 39-20 and Colquitt Co.lost to Milton 39-37.

7A was a bloodbath last week.

You actually have a 3rd Savannah school in Benedictine playing Stockbridge in 4A and they are the best school of the 3. They've won 5 titles over the last decade.

One of my good friend’s son has been key in Starrs Mill run through the playoffs. 200+ yards total offense in the last two wins. They won on a Hail Mary last week against the one seed.

That would be Cedar Grove.

They would have won 3 IAR.

Some great prospects coming out of the Savannah in recent years.

UT QB Commit Jake Merklinger is at Calvary Day.

STUD FSU commit Luke Kromenhoek is at Benedectine.

Potential number 1 player overall DL Elijah Griffin is at Savannah Christian.

Native Savannahian here.

I’m not surprised about SCPS as they have the top rated recruit in 2025, plus they have a history of football success going back to their SEAIS days. Calvary, however, is a total surprise.

Add Nolan Smith and Warren Brinson to that list, although neither finished HS in Savannah.
