Already has NFL and NBA, but Charlotte definitely should be the next to get MLB.

The Knights attendance I believe is #1 in the minor leagues.

Richmond has nothing close to an NFL capable facility.

Also, they would compete with Baltimore and WFT for fans.

Louisville and Richmond would probably do well with a pro team, especially if it's just one. NFL makes the most sense with fewer games. Obviously in Louisville they could play at Papa John stadium while a new one got built.

It will never happen with Indy, Cincy, and Nashville being so close with NFL teams.

Very high percentage of island hispanic population are die hard Yankee or red sox fans. South Florida has the marlins and and huge population of island hispanic that does not support them. Not saying that it is impossible, but it is harder than you suggest.

lol MLS

The EPL, which isn't even domestic, rivals the NHL in viewership. MLS viewership is steadily growing and will get a big boost in the next few years with the 2026 World cup, 2028 Olympics, potential RO16 squad for 2022, and an increase in games played between US and Mexican teams in the next few years. There is a shite load of money going into the MLS righ tnow.

San Juan would have roughly 5 million people within a 2 hour radius...plus all of Latin America. Why would it be hard to sign players there? If anything it would be very easy. Do you realize how many PR players are in MLB? They would probably jump at the chance to go back home and play for their home team. A team in San Juan could actually become very formidable considering the lure for PR connections. Hiram Bithorn is perfectly fine. Why do they need some billion dollar stadium? Yea maybe some renovations and expansion in the outfield, but other than that, the vibe is what makes it a tough place to play. Get that Montreal talk outta here. Who wants to play there? MLB should be expanding into LA if they go international. As for the other cities...

Omaha - MLB
Albuquerque - MLS
Louisville - NBA
Boise - NHL
Quebec - NHL
Hartford - NHL

The entire island of Puerto Rico only has
3,285,874 and it’s shrunk by 12% in the last decade. Not a good demographic trend.

Much of that shift was from one event (Hurricane Maria).

Doesnt matter one bit...what about dumps like Baltimore? lol Simply put...Puerto Ricans absolutely LOVE baseball!! Its their national sport. A team in San Juan would be one of the most highly supported teams in all of professional sports. But yea, lets put a team in Montreal where they don't even play baseball. Putting a team in Latin America would be a huge outreach to those people and would be really smart by MLB. Montreal...seriously, enough of that crap.

Ok..only 3,285,874 people within driving distance. lol Again, you put a team in San Juan, people in Dominican Republic (10.85 million) and Cuba (11.33 million) etc most certainly jump on board with their fandom. A team in SJ would be the defacto Latin American franchise. You're talking about roughly 25 million people within hours of each other. I have actually wondered for a LONG time why there isnt already a franchise there? I mean, there are MLB academy's all over the Caribbean.

Right next door to DC

Seattle would support a basketball team.

There might be an NFL team in London in the next ten years. Toronto and Mexico City have been discussed as possible expansion cities. Not sure that will happen though.

Not sure about MLB.

OP is asking about cities with no Big Four teams.

Also, are you kidding me about getting players to play in San Juan?

I mean, who would want to play here?
