It's seems like they have done this shite every year since Covid a few days before kickoff.

If we can't reach an agreement and Fox content becomes unavailable for an extended period of time, we'll offer our YouTube TV subscribers a $10 credit.
Notice they keep it vague

They’ll reach a deal in time, guaranteed, which will involve the customer paying more.

Fox is most likely the one being ridiculous here. I mean their station is FREE over the air

YouTube tv is only marginally better than cable now.

Incoming $5/ month increase for YouTube TV

If cox offered a multi year contract for $50 a month I’d be all over that. YouTube tv was like $35 a month when I originally jumped ship

This streaming shite is just out of control. The SEC just needs their own service. Pay $XYZ per month and get full access plus bonus content.
People who think this is the best path are simps.
You will pay way more in the long run and have to subscribe to like 10 different things to basically get what was cable 10-15 years ago.

What the frick is Fox’s deal? They’re always in a dispute.

Yay megacorps are fighting and the general public bears the brunt of the worst of it.
They’ll get to NOT watch if the current agreement does expire and then IF a new agreement comes they’ll probably have a price increase.

Cable antenna works perfectly fine

I know you are getting downvoted but you are correct. It's the tuner in your HD/4K TV or DVR that allows you to get HD over the air. Calling an antenna HD or 4K is just marketing to get people to buy new antennas. An outside/attic TV antenna from the 80's will still pick up everything as long as you have a modern TV with an HD tuner.
