Not really.

Bottas should be out of F1.

Ok. If you say so.

He's the most consistently worst 2nd/3rd place finishing F1 driver. He just can't win 1st ever. Get him out now.

More than a few drivers on the grid that should be out before Bottas. He brings the knowledge of what was happening at Merc to Alfa plus he is a consistent driver.

How does that leave the seats

Lewis/Russell
Max/Checo??
Charles/Carlos
Lando/Daniel
Ocon/Alonso
Vettel/Stroll
Gasly/ ??
Mazpin/Mick
Bottas/?? Gio/Mick?

Why would Yuki be back?

I think the more likely scenario than Yuki going would be Checo/Yuki with Gasley jumping to be RB2

And you’re missing Williams…. Latifi and Albon?

I think Mic goes to Alfa bc of the beef

Gasley does not want to go back to Red Bull. They will stick with Perez for next year.

I would have thought Merc would buy that 2nd seat.

You're basically looking at 1 seat each at Williams and Alfa Romeo. I read that Latifi is staying with Williams and Alfa needs to make a decision on Giovinazzi. Haas is a dumpster fire so who knows there but Alfa's decision could play a factor with Schumacher.

I've heard Gio out and AR bringing in Albon

As for the Williams, I could see Mic moving over to get away from the drama and Haas bringing in another sucker.

Rumors I heard (ie, on the internet) is that Williams really wants Albon ...and that De Vries (sp?) is going to Alfa...

I am just wondering if Haas moves Schumacher...he is not following team orders, but his name means so much to F1 and they still need Mazepins money

Happy for Russell. Hopefully he doesn’t get shitted on like Bottas did at times. In a sense, I would have loved for Russell and Bottas to swap seats. Williams is slowly improving and I think Bottas could have help improved that team.

Agree, but I think it makes Merc unstoppable for next season. Of course, that depends on how the new regs impact things.

Checo is too inconsistent in RB for them to contend for the constructors against a Russell/Hamilton pairing.

Haas is a shite show. I love the fact there is an American owned team in F1 but they are hard to watch and follow. I doubt they make any changes and if they did, I seriously don’t think it would be an improvement to what they got now.

I still think there is a chance for Checo to rebound next season. However, like you stated above, Checo and RB can’t afford to make the same mistakes next year like they did this year.

The infighting at Mercedes is going to be brutal. Lewis and Russell are going to hate each other

We'll see, but I bet this is probably the case. Bottas was a perfect #2 for Lewis, he's basically Cal Naughton.

"Hey...uh, maybe I can win one sometime. No? Oh, Okay."

I don't see Russell accepting a second driver role as readily.

For real. I think the nature of the average Finnish person lends themselves well to "team-mate". It's unfortunate Bottas got shafted as often as he did; he certainly took it on the chin better than probably any other F1 driver would.

My God, Sky Sports won't know who to root for next season

Maybe. In the last season of DTS the German investors made it clear to Haas that in order to get funding there needs to be a German driver in a seat.
