Yeah and I want to wake up with Nata Lee deepthroating my dong while Heidi Klum makes me some blueberry pancakes but that has just as much chance of happening as their demands.

I would also like $20 million and a coach to be fired (Bo Pellini).

And this improves their ability to get a job in Iowa how?

Works well with others?

Settles grievances fairly and reasonably?

So sorry, but we've decided not to hire anyone now. Bottom line, don't you know?

Without reading, do the racist demands consist of:

a) dressing appropriately
b) showing up to practice on time

and tuition waivers for any Black athlete who did not graduate with a degree during Kirk Ferentz’s 22-year tenure.

So just assume any black in 22 years that didn’t graduate was the coach’s fault. Personal responsibility is racist.

Also only 8 players from 2010 ($10 million out of $20 million minus 30% asked for being used to entice others) whose accusations are either weak & any culture outside of Iowa could bring up, subjective, or aren’t backed by current black staff or players. One seems like due diligence for NCAA asking about the car.

quote:

Marcel Joly, a running back who had two career carries in four years at Iowa (2014-17). He says coaches once questioned whether a BMW he drove to the football facility was legitimately purchased.

quote:

Martin-Manley, a five-year wide receiver (2010-14) whose 174 career receptions remain a school record. Martin-Manley says complaints he brought to Kirk Ferentz’s attention about racist practices in the program were ignored.

quote:

And Wadley (2013-17), who ranks fifth in program history with 2,872 rushing yards and scored 35 touchdowns, one shy of Tavian Banks’ school record. Wadley has made a wide range of public claims of mistreatment, including that his meal-card privileges were revoked — a charge Kirk Ferentz categorically denied at a July 30 news conference.

quote:

Aaron Mends, a five-year linebacker (2014-18) who transferred to Illinois State after getting a sixth year of eligibility. Mends echoed Martin-Manley’s sentiments that complaints of systemic racism and double standards were shared with Ferentz but brought no significant change.

quote:

Reggie Spearman, a linebacker (2013-14) who had 49 tackles in 21 games as a Hawkeye before transferring to Illinois State. He says he was unfairly punished, as compared to white teammates, over an OWI charge in October 2014 that was later dismissed.

quote:

Andre Harris, a wide receiver who never saw game action in his three years at Iowa (2013-15) and transferred to Eastern Illinois. He says coaches gave him harsher punishments than white teammates for similar rules violations.

quote:

Maurice Fleming, a defensive back at Iowa from 2012 through 2015 who transferred to West Virginia. Fleming states that Doyle would use the n-word in his presence. Doyle said on June 7 that he has never made racist comments, and current Iowa strength coach Raimond Braithwaite (who is Black and has known Doyle since 2002) recently said he had “never witnessed or heard (Doyle) make a racial comment.” On June 15, it was announced that Doyle would be paid $1.1 million by Iowa as part of a separation agreement.

quote:

Jonathan Parker, a four-year running back (2013-16) who gained 714 all-purpose yards in 2014 but saw his role diminish and transferred to Northern Illinois. Parker says he was subjected to “daily ridicule and bullying,” including from Brian Ferentz who Parker says called him “a dumb-a-- Black player.”

But

quote:

...multiple current Black players came to Brian Ferentz’s defense, including running back Mekhi Sargent, who said: “Coach Brian is a great man, a great coach. … He’s going to continue being very supportive of all the players here.”

Even if above comment happened with Parker it seems likely based on others views of Brian Ferentz to not be a comment about all blacks and possibly labeling everyone by their race like blacks do (no different than a black saying dumb arse white boy jokingly or serious). Blacks label everyone by their race and actually get others to do same especially when joking around making it easy for someone to later turn it around for personal gain. The coach should have known this and been smart enough to avoid it, but i feel for white teammates of some of these guys. I see black high school kids and white ones calling each other stuff all the time. I feel bad for the kids when the black gets left out or an outsider convinces him that the white kids were being racist but not him for doing the same and complains.

Some of my black classmates tried to get me to use the N word and other stuff, and it wasn’t a set up back then to attack me back they just thought it was funny to get a white boy to say it or other black slang. Once on the 9th grade bus when teaching me about sex they also told me to only go down on white women because black women smelt like burnt rubber down there, and the black girl sitting next to us was shaking her head in agreement. Back then I was like it must be true then if she agrees. At the time I wouldn’t have known with any race, so I just went with it. In today’s world if I just repeated this in group chat or social media naively thinking I was just be informative based on what I was told by black schoolmates I would be canceled. It wouldn’t matter if the people that told me defended me or if decades ago.

The group is represented by Tulsa civil rights attorney Damario Solomon-Simmons and has additional demands, including attorney’s fees; the creation of a permanent Black male senior administrator position in Iowa athletics; mandatory anti-racist training for athletics staff; the establishment of a board of advisers including Black players and anti-racist professionals to oversee the football program; and tuition waivers for any Black athlete who did not graduate with a degree during Kirk Ferentz’s 22-year tenure.

How black does this administrator need to be, like would Shaun King be ok?

Akrum Wadley ripped Iowa fans off by taking money for autographed memorabilia and only signing a few items. Seems like these guys are making some bullshite accusations to extort money from the university. A couple of former high profile black players (James Daniels, Geno Stone, Desmond King) have come out and said the accusations are overblown.

Who could forget the greatness that was Jonathan Parker?

I'll sum this up simply, it's all B.S.

It was so terrible at Iowa that Akrum Wadley's mother begged, yes begged Kirk Ferentz to give Akrum's younger brother a scholarship to Iowa.

If Iowa was so terribly racist why would you want your younger brother in the program?

Parker is a dumbass... should have lost his scholarly on the spot.

This is nothing more than these bums wanting a free ride, what a shock.

I started drinking heavily after that play. Music City Bowl, IIRC. It was that crap performance that caused Kirk Ferentz to name CJ Beathard the starter for next season some two weeks after the bowl and Iowa went in to have an undefeated regular season and heartbreaking loss to Michigan State in the BTCG the next year.

Yeah, KF did a Purge of Iowa that off-season and got results. Now the malcontents are coming out screaming racism. F those guys. They're not Hawkeyes. They've been disowned.
