Probably not, to be honest

3 P4s and an SBC school is 100% tougher than a schedule w/just 1 P4, 2 CUSAs, and an FCS school.

Tulane is playing teams from the SEC, ACC, Big 10, and SBC.

2024 results
Ole Miss - 10-3
Duke - 9-4
Northwestern - 4-8
South Alabama - 7-6

LSU is playing teams from the ACC, CUSA x2, and FCS Southland.

2024 results
Clemson - 10-4
WKU - 8-6
La Tech - 5-8
SELU - 7-5

As for calling it one of the toughest in the country, there aren't too many schools playing 2 P4s let alone 3.

I don’t care what conference they’re in - I’m not gonna pretend that Duke, Northwestern & South Alabama are tough opponents.

It’s NORTHWESTERN. South Alabama is tougher than them

Glad you got some attention though

Duke is 26-13 the last 3 years going 9-4, 8-5, 9-4. That's a good, tough OOC opponent out of a P4.

You're also missing the entire point. You don't grade how tough an OOC is based of a single game like you are clearly doing. You base it off the entire thing.

Fact of the matter is Tulane has 2 P4s who were a combined 19-7 last year. USA is a mid tier SBC school and a bad Northwestern is still a P4 and far better than buying a win from a FCS team.

3 P4s and 1 SBC is far more difficult than the vast majority of schools are willing to do w/their OOC even w/one of the P4s being down right now. I'm not sure why you are trying to pretend otherwise.

Duke was legit good last year. Like somewhere around the top of the middle of the pack in the SEC last year. They were likely better than Florida and A&M and definitely better than Arkansas and worse

What the hell are you trying to argue? LSU also plays at Ole Miss in addition to playing at Clemson.

We are talking about the toughness of Tulane's OOC schedule for 2025 and I referenced LSU's OOC to show that Tulane does indeed have a tough OOC compared to other schools.

LSU playing Ole Miss in conference is not relevant to the discussion.

Do you know that questions end with question marks and not commas? I will not be spoken to in a demeaning manner by someone who doesn’t appreciate grammatical exactitude!

just read an article that claims Tulane has one of the “toughest” non-conference schedules in the country.

Northwestern, Duke, @USA, @Ole Miss

Thats three P4 teams and two road games… They gotta do what they gotta do to be in the running for that G5 playoff bid. I don’t think you get much tougher without being a rent a win patsy

So the Administrators at BYU think they have a D1 Football program and all the players / co-eds / fan girls are in compliance with an Honor Code that prevents sex.

Dude’s going from Provo, Utah and BYU to ultra liberal Tulane and NOLA after premarital sex would have gotten him suspended. I’m sure this will go well.

Premarital sex was definitely not an honor code violation when I was there!
