feels better to have never cared about it in the first place.

And that's no slight to the millions of fans who do like it. I've enjoyed watching all the fans- nationally and internationally- enjoying themselves. Glad we hosted a successful event and hope everyone continues to have fun.

I didn't care about it before, but I also don't care about it now.

My BIL is British, dual citizenship. He couldnt fathom/grasp me not caring, or believing me when I told him that we could make the World Cup final and I still wouldn't watch.

We. Do. Not. fricking. Care.

People who like golf, tennis, rugby, lacrosse, whatever......none of them push the need for validation of their sport the way soccer fans do. And that is why you soccer fans get so much backlash.

If you'd just shut the frick up and watch your games and go on about your business everyone would be fine.

Quit trying to convince people to give a shite about something they don't give a shite about. It's that fricking simple. Every four years we have to deal with this nonsense.

Now I can stop accidently dropping my remote and just happen to hit the perfect sequence of buttons trying to keep it from banging on the floor

It was fun, but my reason for watching is no longer and in a vacuum, I still really don't enjoy the sport enough to watch it without a rooting interest, and I no longer have one.

The soccer bros are kind of pretentious.

Do you feel better now that you have reinforced that you don't like soccer?

It helped sports fans get through summer a little bit easier and only a few weeks until NFL preseason starts.

Too bad, because Arkansas has a great program and those ladies deserve your support.

I would have started watching the next matches if they would have won last night. That's my interest level in soccer. Team would have had to make it further than ever before to get me excited about it. USA will never be a soccer champion.

It’ll never consistently do well until there’s a watchable pro league here.

Hard to do anything with the momentum when the sport fades into oblivion for years at a time.

The best part of the World Cup games was when the cameramen would scan the crowd for good looking women during the anthems. Now, seriously, three out of four crowd shots are of men crying singing the anthem

What will I do without my nightly dose of incessant, banal, patter amongst the FOX broadcast team?

People who dont like soccer really want you to know they dont like soccer. It is weird and sad.
