Liston took a dive against Clay.
Nonsense of course, but no sportswriter picked Clay, and a dive was the best explanation they could come up with. Took most of them a couple years to figure out how dominant Clay/Ali was.

I completely buy the Savage/Stephanie rumors.
There simply is no other explanation why Savage was never called back home to WWF like so many other former wrestlers.
At one time, he and Hogan were easily the biggest two stars in the business.
I believe Randy isn't even in the hall of fame either. Like Chyna, he is on the bad side of the McMahon's, and he will never get the posthumous accolades he deserves.
And speaking of unfounded wrestling rumors, I like the one that said Vince and Shawn Michaels were gay lovers and that's why Michaels could get away with anything and be such a shitheel to everyone backstage. He knew he was protected by his "lover"

“Ray Gricar the District Attorney of the county Penn State is in was investigating the school, Joe Paterno and Jerry Sandusky over the child abuse allegations and planned to file charges. He mysteriously disappeared in 2005 in the middle of the investigation. Someone at Penn State had him killed. “
Gricar was the one who put the kabosh on PSU police wanting to arrest Sandusky in 1998.
