To sum it up they were the worst ever. Moldy carpets, broke busted toilets, lightbulbs burned out in the offices, weight equipment rusted out, leaking roofs, parking lot flooded every time it rained, windows boarded up with plywood. Coaches literally kept kids away from the athletic facilities when they were recruiting them.

I never knew about all that, but I knew Aloha Stadium was on the verge of being condemned when he was there.
Crazy to think SMU was probably more like paradise to Jones.

I mean June Jones left a 12-1 Hawaii program to go to a 1-11 SMU team. It had to be terrible.

Hell, this happened on my high school team. When I was a Junior, some senior girl was fricking everyone at some party some seniors threw one weekend. About 2 weeks later, a concerned parent had found out and brought it to the coaches attention after his son had to be treated for the clap. We had a big team meeting about it and about 5 or 6 other dudes got embarrased as frick when they had to admit to the coach they probably needed to get treated too

I think people might forget that the Big Ten was perceived to be the top dog at the time and had been for quite a while. Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State were all at the top of their game, and a lot of the rest of the conference was pretty solid across the board. The SEC was Florida, Tennessee, and a bunch of nothing after that.
It wasn’t really until the Florida/OSU title in 2006 game did the Big Ten balloon really get popped.

A girl I know claimed that miles wanted her really bad. That she had voicemails and all. Of course she never produced the voicemails. She was a crazy blonde that was definitely bi. I’d say this was around 2012-2013.
