During Chip Kelly's first ever game at Oregon which happened to be the Blount Punch game; it was so obvious that Chip was in over his head, that Uncle Phil or someone told the old coach Mike Bellotti (who at the time was the AD) to go down from the press box to the sideline and start coaching the players.

Mike Norvell (Memphis football head coach) apparently has something seriously shady in his past that is preventing him from getting hired by other schools.

I read this same thing last year when it was rumored UF was looking at him, same thing when UT was looking at him. Nobody will tell you what that shady shite is though. The closest thing I ever came up with was a guy on a message board that claimed the dude gambled on some games when he was an assistant.

Nick has always admitted that moving to Bama, and staying was Terry's decision.

I think Terry knew about Candi, I think Nick had a very strained relationship with his 2 kids. I think it's pretty clear she gave him an ultimatum. He was on the verge of losing half his shite, his wife and his kids never speaking to him again. The real reason Saban finally stopped moving and settled in Alabama was to save his family

An Alabama football player fricked Nick Saban’s daughter about 6 years ago. I have no idea who it was but some Alabama football players openly talked about it at a bar after a Bama win.

Golf stuff doesn't make the rounds much because most of the world doesn't care and the golf community is pretty close-knit.

Here's a few I've heard from round the way:
-DJ is a hound. Only known wife he slept with was Will McKenzie. Rumors are he slept Jimmy Walker's wife, but I think people have gotten confused with WM. Will is really liked on the tour, so a lot of players hate DJ for that.
-His Masters injury from a few years ago supposedly involved a drunk argument between he and Keopka, where Brooks threw him down some stairs/off a porch. I've heard Brooks' lady was involved and I've heard it was just two drunk bros fricking around. Not sure.
-He has taken a few coke breaks. PGA chooses not to disclose fines and suspensions, so they are all given as medical reasons, but it is for coke.
-Dufner's ex was rumored to be with Tiger, not DJ, after the divorce but don't think that's accurate. I think she was just a good ole fashioned gold digger.
-Rory was banging lots of women when he was with Wozniaki. He was late to the Ryder Cup on singles morning because he finally slept with this broad he'd been chasing for a long time. He's now married to her. But Woz found out about all the women. It just wasn't a public as Tiger's escapades.
-Kim used to get absolutely blasted. I've heard it wasn't uncommon to find him passed out at a party house a few hours before his tee times. Don't have many good stories, but dude had some substance issues
-I know a few people who swear they have been propositioned by FIGJAM. Males who are involved with tour activities at tournaments. They swear by it, but I'm skeptical. I could see him being bi though.
-Supposedly FIGJAM let Michael Jordan sleep with Amy a few times.

Good stuff, man. I never would have thought FIGJAM would get down with guys. lsupride87 has mentioned that his ATP sources say Federer is super weird in the locker room. ETA, he has also mentioned that poon hounds Fernando Verdasco and Feliciano Lopez were rumored to do some homo stuff. But, I see that as like Jagger/Bowie. They did so many women, they just wanted to try something new.

The other one about Dustin Johnson, courtesy of Alan Shipnuck when he was a guest on the "No Laying Up" podcast.
Johnson had just done a feature in one of the big golf mags that involved his personal life, and a girl he was dating at the time was in it and in a bunch of pics. I THINK it was at the Tournament of Champions but forget the exact tourney, but Shipnuck saw Natalie Gulbis there like a week later and asked her what she was doing.
"Im here for Dustin." She said.
Shipnuck didn't necessarily want to blow him up, but it was a scoop and one that he couldn't sit on. He liked Dustin and wanted to get it from him, though, and not run with something tabloid style.
Shipnuck called DJ that night, who answered the phone completely out of breath. He said "bro Im in the middle of something, Ill call you back".

Shipnuck ran the story, DJ and the girl broke up, he dated Gulbis, etc. Shipnuck saw him a month or so later, and apologized expecting to be reamed over it but ready to explain his position.
DJ's response: "Don't worry about it, bro"
