So if I have to exclude my purple teams (TCU/LSU) - I've got a few...
Major Harris QB WVU 1987-89 He was a couple decades ahead of the game at the time. He infuriated JoPa to the point that he declined to continue the series btwn WVU and Penn State. 1989 MH Highlights 1988 WVU Undefeated Season Team Highlights
Owen Schmitt RB/FB WVU 2005-07 Joined the team as a walk-on and ended up a spirit animal. Good hands, hard to tackle and an enthusiastic lead blocker (Steve Slaton/Pat White were lucky to have had him). Powerback Highlights "The Runaway Beer Truck"
Browning Nagle QB Louisville 1988-90 They weren't a pass-heavy offense... but the dude could throw it a mile when he uncorked. Threw for 450+yds vs. Alabama in the Fiesta Bowl as the team finished 10-1 and ranked ranked #14 in the AP Poll (Ranked EOS for the first time since '72). 1991 Fiesta Bowl Highlights
A couple others...
Kordell Stewart QB Colorado
Taysom Hill QB BYU (watched more BYU than most as I was a TCU fan)

Michael Bishop from KSU was really fun to watch
Never did anything of note in the NFL but he was really gifted

Two for different reasons
1) Jared Lorenzen because of his shocking athleticism for such a heavy man - and his sheer likability. RIP Pillsbury Throwboy.
2) Tommie Frazier for just how perfectly he made Nebraska function. He was unbelievable.

Marcus Spears - loved watching him as part of that 03 team.
Mark Clayton - great WR at OU. Loved his game.
Todd Gurley (but frick georgia)
Bob Sanders - playmaking hard hitting safety.
Daryl Clark - PSU, really liked how well that 08 PSU team looked on offense.

My favorite collegiate player that didn’t go to LSU is Eric Berry
The play of him vs Tebow going head-to-head for a running play is still one of my favorite battles.

When I was young kid...just remember thinking that Billy Sims was the man
And before college, then the power of Herschel was just amazing.
But it was either Bruce Smith or Jerome Brown

I was a Dennis Dixon fan when he was at Oregon. I think he was the Heisman front runner before he got hurt

Hands down, Derrick Thomas. Hated him and loved watching him at the same time.
