I can remember there being rumors amongst Louisiana AAU guys and high school coaches that Thon was older then they were saying, but most people figured it was 1 or 2 years because he'd come from Sudan. No one could have imagined him being fricking 19.
The best part of all of this is that the Bucks are the same organization that took Yi Jianlian, who claimed to be 19 but was actually 27. fricking clown show of an organization man.

He didn't shite on all of them. I saw him play as a supposed 17U in an elite AAU tournament in Myrtle Beach against Karolina Diamonds who was a 15U team at the time and those kids destroyed him. I've never been impressed when I saw him play. He was extremely weak.

I would be disappointed if my team drafted him at all. I'm no scout, but he's a lock for the D-League IMO.

which is why the age limit rule's intent is a good thing. It gives franchises more film to scout.
