Also harden has far surpassed Nash. No reason for Nash to be ahead of James.

That is fair. I would probably place Harden over Nash as well.

I'm partly surprised Melo doesnt make this last at all. I figured he would rank somewhere in the 60s

Pippen over Barkley? Rodman over Parker? Allen Iverson and Nash over Isiah Thomas who won back to back titles?

Well Steph won the unanimous mvp, and a title without durant.

Stephs best season is better than Kevin’s best season.

Tbt hardwns 5 year peak is better than either of them.

There’s a lot of recency bias on that list.

Yea that one is definitely a head-scratcher.

I like Steph but he definitely got a little too much love on this list. I mean even in his 3 rings, he doesnt have a single finals MVP(I still think he deserved it over Iggy, but point still stands).

KD is way better than Scottie lol. Do you not remember his 2012 series against San Antonio, the 2012 finals, 2017 finals game 3, 2018 WCF game 7, and so on?

Scottie? Absolute no-show when Portland needed him in Game 7 against the Lakers in 2000. 15 pt lead with 7:30 left in the fourth, just needed to cruise to the Finals. He scored 0 pts in the fourth. Hell he only scored 3 pts after the first quarter.

KG at 20 seems low to me.

Here is the problem you have. I can assure you that way more NBA GM’s would take Davis over Harden. It’s not even close.

It may be closer than you think. All the metrics shows that Harden alone is one of a very select few players that can drive a top 5 offense by himself. And for the record, I hate his game but he is an offensive juggernaut.

None would take Davis.

With Davis as you guy you make the playoffs every 4-5 years.

With harden you always advancing deep into the playoffs and always have An all time elite offense.

No one takes Davis.

Davis is basically the best robin in the league. He can be your best player with decent success but is still a play finisher not a creator. Harden is the better guy to start a team and I don't like Harden. The one thing people probably unfairly critique Davis is on playoff performance. Basically lost to 2 great warrior teams and smashed the only other team he played.

There is only one player who has lead 3 top 15 all time offenses. It is Hardwn the last three years. he is the only player, ever, whose mere presence on a team ensures all time elite offense. He is not only one of the greatest scorers of all time, but his playmaking and hoops iq are from another planet also. Quite a few of these guys above him have no business being mentioned in the same breathe.

Exactly. An elite playmaker will always have more value than someone who cannot create shots for themselves or others. Ie Davis.

Wut? Nash was way better than Isiah. It’s not even close. Isiah’s efficiency was horrible. He was a 45% career shooter when the league average shooting percentage during the ‘80s was well over 48%. Nash was a 49% career shooter during a time when the league average shooting percentage was 44%, 45%. The Pistons ranked top five in offensive rating one time during Isiah’s entire career. Steve Nash led teams that finished #1 or #2 in offensive ranking for TEN consecutive years. Saying Isiah is better than Nash because of rings is the equivalent of saying Elway was a significantly better QB than Drew Brees due to Elway playing in five Super Bowls compared to Brees’ 1. No, he wasn’t and it’s absurd to state otherwise.

You can tell he was crying reading that list

Inside that top 20? You damn right...

A true champion, a true winner. Someone that leads his team, not just scores

Pippen was 34 and a complementary guy for the Blazers by that point. He only averaged 12.5 ppg in the regular season that year and he scored 12 in Game 7.

no Jordan is #1. I go with lebron #2. Once harden gets to his 10 all nbas and top 5 in points scored we will revisit. Remember, harden has not even peaked yet and he is top 10 across the board in the per minute metrics. That will only go up.

Harden has peaked and with the questions about the Rockets coaching future in doubt there is no telling what his future numbers will look like. If I’m the Rockets I trade him now. They could get a huge amount in return. Hate to say this but the Rockets are not gonna win a title with Harden unless a prime Hakeem walks through that door.

if he has peaked then what we have seen the last 5 years has only been eclipsed by 5 year runs from Mike and lebron. No one else has a peak that is superior. That right there tells you where he belongs in the list doesn’t it.
