Red Zone was already kind of ruined with the spread of games…between a Thursday night game, SNF, MNF double headers, and byes…just has felt way less chaotic and fun the last few years The 3:30 slot sometimes can be basically dead…and then they started doing ads this year.

Why would the NFL agree to this?

This would suck. I don't get why the NFL stopped investing in the NFL network. GMF was a good show and they had so much potential and the fact is that teams generate so much content. I don't believe a studio and producing shows was that expensive when they consider they never really paid people a lot of money except for the Sunday shows which I will miss. They never really showed the great Library of NFL Films. I think they gave up on showing Thursday games on the NFL network too soon. I know they have a content problem in some ways since there are only 17 regular season games they are mostly played on Sundays, but if any league had a chance to have the best and biggest Network it was them.

I don’t either. MLB Network is fantastic. Seems like this is a miscalculation on the NFL’s part.

I am old enough to remember when ESPN was the best invention in the entire world besides electricity, and now most people with sensibility legitimately loathe what they have become.

I didn't think something so beloved could ever disintegrate itself. It seemed so foolproof, but here we are.

I wonder how much they'll charge for RedZone.

I can get it via YouTube TV with an additional $10 per month "sports package".
