2 party consent wasn't followed in Florida or Connecticut. I'd sue the f out of NY times and ESPN. Hope they both go bankrupt.

Rachel Nichols is done at ESPN forever. I guarantee it.

Probably but they will have to give her a fat check to go away.

They didn't turn her camera on without her knowing, she left it on by accident. Her own incompetence doesn't make them at fault.

Yeah, but the person that made the cell phone recording and released it for sure did violate that rule. Where the liability lies if a suit was filed, bc it was an ESPN employee, who’s to say?

I highly doubt that.

Is there a side to take here or is everyone on our side just looking to crap on ESPN?

Production assistant recorded something that both parties, not ESPN, knew was being recorded. Sorry but the PA broke whatever law was in place.

It was recorded and went into ESPN's servers and ESPN probably has it contractually as some form of their property once it's on their servers. The person who took it from the server, who was suspended, would be violating them not Nichols.

The funniest part about this is that Rachel Nichols has served as ESPN’s generic middle aged woke white woman for several years now. She’s ALL ABOUT diversity, inclusion, BLM, etc….right up until the point it comes for her job.

fricking love it

I imagine recording a recording of a conversation is 100% different than recording the actual conversation.

Hard to argue its illegal for her to record a copy of the conversation that Nichols herself is the one who recorded.

I think the bigger story isn't Nichols saying she lost a gig to Taylor because she's black but Nichols quite literally saying she's all for diversity anywhere else in the company except for when it took her job lol.

Why is that surprising? That's the norm.

Just keep popping the popcorn. Nothing warms my heart like seeing wokes get hoisted on their own petard, that goes for Rachel and ESPN execs.
