"This is football. This ain't nothing to do with surfing. This ain't nothing to do with waves. This is football. This is a man's sport," Dickerson said in the interview. "And to me, it just looks soft. It don't look like football. It don't look hard."

He's totally right but it's crazy that he's treated like the Rams' Magic Johnson or something. He only played 4 seasons and 2 games there. He was a monster but still.

The NFL and their PR firms are terrible. They have no idea what fans want. The people who do these redesigns have apparently never heard of of it ain’t broke don’t fix it.

The old-school Rams uniforms pictured in this thread are among the best-looking threads in NFL history. Why tinker with perfection?!

Because the people they hire to design this stuff aren't football fans or probably even sports fans.

They probably hired some random firm in new york city for $30 million for the redesign where it's designed by someone more likely to be at an art exhibit on a Sunday morning than watch football.

Exactly. The bright yellow and bright blues they had were perfect. The whites and dark blues they had were also perfect. Arguably the best uniform combo in the league. No reason to mess with it at all.

These new uniforms are nothing more than a jersey sale cash grab. One look at the new Falcons uniforms, for example, tells you exactly who they're marketing them for. Same with these.

Just go back to the 70s and 80s for the love of God.

Reward the fans for staying loyal.

That awful design can wait.

Rams are also seeking another $500M in stadium funding. What a shite show.

The Los Angeles Rams have requested up to $500 million in additional NFL stadium financing, and a doubling of the amount of time typically required to pay the money back, sources said. That would bring to as much as $900 million the club arranged to borrow from the league for SoFi Stadium.

New logo = new sales. They know what they are doing. You need to think bigger.

They had weather delays that backed things up. Combine they with possibly not have any events for a while and they are losing out on revenue they should have been there (keep in mind there are much more things in the complex than just the stadium...all of which are shut down/not opening because of the virus)

Add in the Chargers contributing almost nothing (their PSL’s were non existent) and it was a perfect storm.

This is more to help offset the losses from the stadium/complex opening being delayed due to the virus.
