If you know the people in his camp, he'll be loyal to the highest bidder.

Nussmeier will be a Georgia early entry which means he will be leaving Rummel at Christmas.

Garland Gillen on Fox 8 said it in an X post and in his video report on the transfer.

Should be easy for you to find.

He may be wrong but someone told him that. Doesn't seem like something he would have pulled from thin air.

There is no such animal as a lock in this day and age.

It is 100% to the biggest and best offer.

What's the point at this juncture? Even if he did it next week he'd still have to wait until next year. But who knows......maybe Lane and the guys at MMR bought him.

I've stuck with HS fb a long time because it was the last pure level of the sport, but that is chaning at an alarming rate from this stuff to the violence at games...

I get the frustration, and I agree with you, but let’s not pretend that this is happening at a very high rate. How many Easton Royals are out there?

All of the things that are disfiguring college football started small. Just a case here and there, and look where we are now.

A LA directional school level player held himself out of a semifinal game 2 years ago........

You don't need to be Sherlock Holmes to figure out who the source of the information to Garland Gillin was.

Or you can believe he just decided to make up this strangely specific detail and insert it in his reporting for no reason at all.

Friend, it’s 2026. Just find a judge and he can graduate whenever he wants. In fact he could be in purple and gold next weekend if we expedite.

Exactly. These athletes know that measurables account for a chunk of your ranking. If you break out your soph or junior season of HS, your camp will tell you to shut it down.

I know it more than most. I didn't even say Garland Gillen was right. The guy asked for a source which I provided. Then he laughed at the source. I mean what's an acceptable source? His comment proved he wasn't going to accept anything.

But it's not like this requires a deep level of thinking. Garrett Nussmeir was an early entry. It's seems likely they would chose that path for this son.

Gillen covers preps but also the Saints. He's covered the Nussmeier family for a decade. He has some access. Does it seem likely that he would have said Colton Nussmeier would be an early entry at Georgia out of nowhere? Someone told him that. Someone likely close to the Nussmeiers if not Doug Nussmeier himself.

Someone can believe he made it up for no reason if they like.

Everyone in the thread is ready to believe all kinds of things about the Easton Royal camp that actually has a lot less reporting that the Colton Nussmeier thing.

Yes.
If he was smart just play and go to class take the ged over Christmas break and be done with it.

Unless he really wants a BM diploma...im pretty sure LSU or Texas could careless as long as hes good with ncaa clearinghouse.

At some point it’s like what’s the fricking point for the 99% not moving on. Just let the big time prospects go do drills against each other while the normal kids just play for the reasons they’ve always played.
