College is more exciting just because regular season games and series carry more weight than they do in MLB.
Not necessarily true. Very few teams make the MLB postseason. If your team is one of the teams in a heated playoff race, you’d be amazed at how crucial every game can be in a 162 game season. Watching these teams battle it out every night down the stretch for a playoff spot is a ton of fun.

I love college baseball, but MLB is way ahead in every metric. Peak sporting event to attend live is west coast MLB baseball.

I’m a big MLB fan, and I absolutely hate college baseball. It’s like two different sports.

No, not even close. The best college age baseball players don’t play college baseball.

I agree with you OP... it's why I exclusively watch teeball... once that ball gets hit, you never know what those little bastards are gonna do... pure excitement and complete love for the game (and juice boxes)

MLB is where dreams and excitement go to die... "hey guys, let's strike out a bunch in the hope we hit 25 dingers cuz metrics "

Boring as frick... now teeball... shite, that's the real show

I prefer college by a longshot. Less games in the season, making each one count more. Groundballs to the left side of the infield arent an automatic out. Being down 4 going to the 8th inning doesnt mean the game is over. More obscure teams, different stadium types, more passionate fans.

Same. The sloppiness and unpredictability in college game makes it so much funner.

Exact opposite for football though, NFL all day over college.

13-8 slugfests with 7 home runs is tedious and the games take forever.

Meh when it’s 13-8 getting into college bullpens, you run the chance of facing (or having) a real ragarm (especially on mid major teams) who will make you feel like you’re never out of the game. I’m okay with a game taking forever if it feels in doubt.

I guess I’ve missed something over the last 20 years, people now go to sporting events for food

I always went to restaurants for that

I like that the season is played over 50-60 games.

I like the way the postseason is played out.

I like that the postseason is generally played during a dead period in sports and not in the middle of football season.

I like that my region has the best teams. Makes me care a lot more about the teams.

I like that I don’t have to drive 5-8 hours to see a game in person.

I just wish they could find a happy medium. Today’s gorilla ball era is better than the deadball of the 2010s. Offense is fun but not when you have 4 1/2 hour games or you get something like Arkansas did this afternoon.

But MLB in game experiences are so much better than any college game. That’s why I love MLB too.

No. The season has always been a marathon, so I don't expect players to get too high or low over one game.

It in no way is a better product. Might be more fun or enjoyable to certain people.

No, sir.

College baseball is great, that's true, but, I always like to remind myself that college baseball is BELOW Minor League "A" level baseball. It helps me keep things in perspective when I remind myself that I'm having fun watching BELOW Minor League "A" level baseball.
