I will never understand people like this.

“I’m not on a team that can win it all and I don’t like playing for them!”

Gets paid millions of dollars to play a sport, one of the absolutely best jobs in existence, and throws tantrums like a fricking child.

He is an embarrassment.

And why wouldn't they continue to suspend him?

Because you don't want him disrupting every practice and don't want to be talking about it after every practice. At some point you gotta get him out of there.

The thing is tho, they had the best record in the East last year. They absolutely were a contender until Simmons turned into a deer in headlights anytime the ball got near him lol

He is such an unlikable player

People like Simmons need to be put on a manual labor crew for a few weeks and see if that helps them to understand how good they actually have it.

Good for Doc. How many NBA coaches, in today's world, would suspend a superstar, even if for only one game....so far. I hope Doc suspends him every time he missteps over anything. Simmons has least one more year, plus this one, on his contract, right?

Simmons actually is on a team that can win it all but would rather get dealt to some dead end like Minnesota or Sacramento because he’s scared. Sad way to go through life

I just hope the cameras are running when Embid inevitably knocks him the frick out.

I just don't see how any team looks at this and still thinks it's a good idea to add him to their team

Shams tweet

quote:

Sources: Doc Rivers asked Ben Simmons to join a defensive drill today. Simmons refused. Rivers asked again. Simmons said no again.

Rivers then told Simmons he should go home, and Simmons dropped the ball and left.

What a tool

Morey can't give in on this or it's over for the NBA.

Do what other teams were scared to. Klutch needs to be stopped.

No more of this player dictated movement. Owners need to take control.

I'm firmly anti player when it comes to forcing trades, etc.

Does he get his money if he’s suspended? I don’t care if he acts and a-hole and gets suspended all year as long as he’s forfeiting pay in the process.

You can tell it’s coming too. If not him Doc should send in a practice goon squad to handle this shite.

I’d laugh my arse off if this whole fiasco made Simmons undesirable to be picked up anywhere. Better players have played on worse teams. He thought he’d get cute but nobody wants to deal with his shite.

No, you don't get paid for games that are missed due to suspension.

And if there is anyone wily enough to do it within the CBA, it’s Morey.

He just needs ownership to stick with him which looks to be the case.

Klutch fricked with the wrong city too.

The Philly fans will stand 100 percent behind the org. They will be relentless in tearing apart Simmons and won't flinch.

Simmons has to be a real moron to once again listen to the guy who didn't understand the contract he negotiated.

You really think Simmons understood it either? We aren't talking about scientists here.

What do they have to fight about? He signed a contract to play basketball in Philly. They agreed to pay him a lot of money to do so. Only one side is keeping their end of the bargain.

Do you want the owners to start fricking around with guaranteed money? because this is how you get them to start fricking with guaranteed money.
