he's not wrong but he's also just screaming into a mic. He's going to raise holy hell? Umm ok, thanks i guess. Not sure how much that's going to help us.

Is Miami-Ft Lauderdale TV market bigger or smaller than Br-NO? Pretty sure it's well ahead.
Not for college football. Not even close.

The only entity that would lose money in the long term if this actually happens* is LSU. 3-4 years from now the SEC would barely notice they're gone. They'll replace them with another big name football program and keep humming along. A separation would be a death blow to LSU athletics.
You are right, and that goes for all of them, including Alabama.

Yeah LSU bending the knee last night changed a lot of this. No more threats of them rostering the players moving forward.

Exactly. The federal suit is much bigger than LSU or this one situation, which is why it was always going on, even if LSU bent the knee like we did. Bending the knee got LSU out of potential hot water Thursday, but was never going to impact Wednesda
Reminder of what you posted a few hours ago SFP
The sec knew they would lose.
Sankey is a joke

I haven't forgot. They aren't in conflict.
The case hasn't been dropped, but the timeline isn't so compressed now that LSU bent the knee.
*ETA: the references "Thursday" and "Wednesday" were about the specific proceedings on those dates, not the times. Is that your confusion?

LSU should bring a vote to the meeting Thursday to kick Texas out the league for rostering a pro player
Posted on 9/9/26 at 1:13 pm to lsupride87
so what does this mean for tomorrow's "vote"? still happening? nobody knows?

No official word yet. I'll wager it's either removed or becomes a nothing burger. People on the rant seem to think LSU and SEC settled.

Without knowing a single thing about the talks, i think that's a pretty good bet.

Also you never answered a question I posed to you multiple times.
For the SEC to establish in federal court they have the ability for self governance particularly punishing what amounts to an arm of the state of Louisiana wouldnt it need to show consistency in punishment

the tide would eventually turn on the SEC in the PR war I think if they continued after LSU filled the roster.
it would have come off as a Kiffin witch hunt vs. this being about an eligibility disagreement

Rousse's letter gives more weight to this.
