Like Prime says, " We keep receipts."

This is from the director of the Senior Bowl:
And people were mad Deion didn't keep those bums around.

Can’t overstate how blown away I am by what Coach Prime and his team just did.
Last year’s
@CUBuffsFootball
were so bad that we wouldn’t let our
@seniorbowl
scouts evaluate tape when CU was the opponent.
And TCU had plenty NFL talent on that field today. ??
Unreal.

What a game. Colorado might have 2 guys in Sanders and Hunter in NYC for the heisman ceremony.
The RB Edwards had a hell of a game too.
Dieon brought in way more talent than anybody gave him credit for.

The indignation that so many had when he said a group of guys who went 1-11 in a shitty conference were trash

Was committed to ND before flipping to play for Deion. Those are type of athletes ND needs to hang onto

I'm ready to eat my crow now.
Deion is exactly what I said he was- a carnival barker, sideshow promoter that has put his program in disarray. Yes, I get what they were last year. But his team is getting headlines for all the wrong reasons now.
They are 70th in recruiting and everyone is fleeing the program- commits and current players. The rest of the country has figured out what many of us already realized.
ETA: Yes, TCU was overrated. Unless you think 5-7 TCU was really the 10th best team back in September.

FLTech has a knack for being on the right side of posts such as this. Where ya’at, FLTech? Still waiting for those glorious words you promised for us once LSU was eliminated from CWS. He had everything typed out. Just waiting to post once Tigers were eliminated. I still want to read those words.

I forgot just how many people on this site were such big Deion fanboys. They were convinced that he was going to start bringing in top 5 classes because of his name and being at a P5 school.

I think he brought in talent and won whatever they won, 4-5 games. I suspect that is the ceiling.
Commits are leaving because they realize Deion is only going to showcase himself and his kid and they want to play for a better coach. Simple really. Will he win 4 games next year? Maybe.

This may not be true. They are getting revenue from the hype as well.

Not a fanboy, was pulling for the guy and willing to give him a chance but am probably 98% in the “this is doomed” group now. NIL has changed a lot in college football but there are certain undeniable, eternal truths when it comes to running a major college football program and he’s given zero indication that he has a clue. The way that it fell apart as the season progressed … yes they had some close losses but a team that played with more discipline and had more focused leadership might have pulled a couple of those out … instead of improving is telling.
The only way it turns around is if he gets offensive and defensive lines, slashes the penalties, stops being Daddy first and coach second, turns down the noise a bit and, most of all, shows people what his offensive and defensive personalities as a coach are instead of flying by the seat of his damn pants,
Recruiting is not going to turn around until he gives people a solid reason other than being part of the new glitzy and flashy thing to come play for him.
Again NIL has changed a lot but you can’t build a program with all mercenaries.
