A lot of people actually believe Deion is the greatest DB because he told them so.

I'm personally not a huge fan of Deion and think his whole persona is a joke and a big part of why our country is a bunch unaccountable a hole sissies but I know he has had some serious medical problems in the past and to call a PC just randomly doesn't sound like "good" news..

Knowing him It's his way of proving and giving attention to an announcement of them saying he has a clean bill of health. That way schools can't use his health to negatively recruit against him since he has medical team on TV saying he is fine. Or he is hanging it up due to health issues. It pretty much can only go those two ways.

Give some tangible reasons why you don’t think Deion can coach

I've seen various reports that Deion has been dealing with some undisclosed health injuries over the past prior months. Allegedly he hasn't been able to be around much during this time.

I hope not, but I think this is him revealing that he's retiring along with whatever issues he's dealing with.

Yep and being a college coach is pretty much a morning to night job.

Let’s be fair, he did leave them better than he found them

With the current state of college football with NIL and unlimited transfers I can’t really agree unless he has gotten the school and alumni interested in spending money long term.

You can be this great offensive mind like Mike Leach and if you don’t have the talent you won’t win consistently.

A lot goes into coaching, recruiting, getting your players to buy in, getting your players to work hard in the weight room, scouting, game planning. A big part of coaching is to find people who are good at things that you aren’t good at. No Deion may not be the best at scheming up a game plan, but he’s good at a lot of other things.

Everything listed here is part of coaching.

I guess we’ll never see how good of a “coach” he really is then since he’s apparently quitting.

This year and next really would have done a lot to shut the haters up.

But I guess if people want to call him a great coach after a couple seasons with a couple big tile playmakers, go head and crown his arse, I guess lol

Eh. Try Kent State. I do give him credit for bringing in the talent but he did his main job….he got his sons in the NFL.

Because he’s done it for two seasons, and not really at that high of a level lol

Why do you get such a hard on trying to be so contrarian lol

Best case he's coaching from the box this year. More likely he's going to miss several games completely. But somehow he'll be able to be at his son's and Travis' games this season.

Because he's a hype machine relying on media contacts and formerly Travis Hunter with no substance or wins of note.

You are being the contrarian here

Jackson state was 15-29 the 4 years before Deion

He went 27-6 as a “Head Coach”

Colorado was 11-21 the 4 seasons before Deion

He is 13-12 as head coach

You saying “wut lol” when someone says he has proven he knows how to coach makes you a contrarian at best , a complete idiot more likely

They're not as shitty as they once were while having the Heisman winner for two seasons. Congrats.

This is your next "Bronny is one of the best 55th picks in the last decade in the NBA " takes

On a scale of 1-10, how great of a coach is he?
