Good thing Ricky Renteria was fired because the front office thought some old drunk would manage the pitching staff better.

I'm more shocked Kopech didn't relieve Gio. He's been brought into similar spots all season, but LaRussa goes with Crochet, who pitched yesterday?

But absolutely, Kopech should have at least gone in ahead of Bummer to face the top of your order. I have no explanation for that.
