That’s one unwritten baseball rule that is completely stupid. “You’re a pussy for not making my job easier!!”

Watching the other ALDS, I was going to ask what our preferred opponent would be if we advanced (Red Sox is the obvious answer but I do think the Rays have some cracks in SP). But that's bad juju to talk about. It wouldn't be unprecedented for a Dusty Baker lead team to self destruct from this point. So I'm not counting any chickens.

You just walked into the trap.

Key K and the Sox are all over the Rays tonight.

This...and I still have PTSD from 2019 when I was giddy that the Nationals beat the Dodgers in the NLDS. We know how that all worked out.
So I don't root for specific teams...I just hope they play the maximum number of games.

Sloshed up in hurr go Stros let’s see how it plays out

Howie Kendrick!
...Howie fricking Kendrick...

He got into it with Verlander a couple of years ago because Verlander fussed at him over something.
First off, great player, but Anderson is a straight up bitch to literally complain that a pitcher was trying to get him out. He can eat a bag of dicks.
Second, speaking of JV, have y’all seen this?
Verlander First Pitch Rumor?
I really hope this has no teeth.

And I still don't think Harris threw a bad pitch to him. But when the baseball gods inexplicably have a hard-on for you in the post-season, things go your way.
But Howie did hit the slam vs. Joe Kelly in the 10th in game 5 of the NLDS, so the baw ain't all bad I suppose

Here's the video on Anderson
LINK
After the strikeout, Anderson walks away from the plate and says "weak arse shite" and then is seen in the dugout looking back out to the field and says "fricking pussy" and something else I can't make out

Yeah, Anderson is one of my favorite Sox players since 2005, and he's nearly always level-headed, but he's obviously frustrated.
Even though we made the playoffs last year, this is the first time we've won the division and had a legitimate contender since 2008. TA and Abreu are clubhouse leaders, but they've never really had championship expectations before. I think they're feeling it, and it's trickling down.
I'll be at the game Sunday night, and Lord willing, at the game Monday afternoon. Maybe we can make it a series, but the Astros have looked far more comfortable than the Sox so far.

Yeah, the last time the Sox and Astros played a playoff game on a Sunday night in Chicago, it didn't go so well for the Stros...
Paul Konerko and Scott Podsednik can frick right off.

Luis Garcia set to start Game 3 for Astros. White Sox don't have anyone listed that I have seen or heard of.
Game times set for theoretical (and hopefully unnecessary) Games 4 and 5:
Game 4 Monday: 2:37 (because it wouldn't be an Astro post-season without a Monday afternoon game. Or a Thursday afternoon game. Or a Friday afternoon game)
Game 5 Wednesday: 8:07

Former Astros reliever Joe Smith has been here the last two games. Yesterday, he wore Brantley’s jersey. Today, he’s in Bregman’s. He and Allie are the best.

It's a shame it took a trade for him to remember how to pitch.

Idk but I've never seen Alvarez show much emotion.
Big baw was amped yesterday though.

I really don’t believe that’s true. If it is, it’s really petty by all involved, and you can forget him being back with the Astros.

Yeah I believe the Verlander stuff is a fan/social media issue more than a real issue.
