Y'all see MLB announced exclusive streaming deals for AppleTV and NBC Peacock starting next year. AppleTV for Friday games and Peacock for the Monday and Wednesday night games ESPN relinquished.
As I understand it and I could have this wrong, these will be akin to the Sunday night games where those broadcasts are only on ESPN and not local RSNs rather than like the Monday/Wednesday games where they were on ESPN and the RSNs. Seems like you'll have to have every streaming service in the book to catch games.

Speaking of streaming, AT&T Sportsnet is no longer a part of AT&T/DirecTV. It got spun off as part of WarnerMedia which merged with Discovery. The new company is said to have their eye on being a streaming giant. Maybe soon we'll finally get the standalone streaming service for in market games.
MLB announced a while back they were handing over ownership of streaming rights to the individual teams. AT&T as a carrier through DirectTV/Uverse had a vested interest in universal carriage fees. I'm hoping Warner Bros/Discovery as a content creator will he happy to sell it to individuals.

I didn’t know that but very interesting. AT&T isn’t great but seems far better than the Bally Sports disaster

Trying to think of another broadcast company who was so cash poor that they licensed out the names of their networks to a corporate sponsor. Sinclair is a disaster
These RSNs are a terrible deal in the era of cord cutters. I don't know how long the carriage deals last but our RSN is still on Comcast from the CSN disaster, we're on Direct from the then DirectTV owned Root Sports which was brought on to AT&T Uverse when it was bought out. So the 3 majors that carried it only did so because they owned it. Dish has gotten away from RSNs. They let their Fox RSNs expire and didn't renew, they've never picked up our network and have started dropping Comcast and At&T RSNs. In the last year, AT&T and Comcast were looking at spinning off their RSNs.

They requested medicals, and then another report yesterday said they would no pursue Correa or Freeman any further.

God, finally. I couldn’t stand to watch much more college ball.
If anyone cares, Joe Biagiani signed a minor deal with Toronto.
Looking forward to telling Ryno to stfu for 9 months.

Also, I’m just overhearing MLBN, and because of the new CBA, Astros probably have room to sign Correa. We will see if Crane caves.
