No doubt at all that he wants to. He likes living here.

But there will be lots of bidders. He does understand the value of living in a tax free state and will accept equivalents.

That's not what I said. It will totally depend on the Astro's offer and that offer will likely be too low. He has made it clear that he understand the tax implications and that an offer in a state with no taxes doesn't have to be as high. He specifically addressed this in an interview.

And I don't blame him one single bit for taking the money. That's absolutely what he should do.

Home Plate and Jackson St BBQ are both gone. Probably the other side of 59. So what's left...Pitch 25, 8th Wonder, and Truckyards?

True, the problem is the Dallas Rangers went full tard and gave Seager $325 mil. Just can’t see the Stros offering anything close to that.

This. If Seager is worth 325, Correa is worth 500mil

I think the underground one is open. I've never been there, but it looks really cool.

Interesting note on Justin Verlander's deal w/the Astros, which was done before the lockout: The deal only guarantees Verlander $25M in 2022, per source. If he reaches 130 IP this season, a $25M player option for 2023 is triggered. If he doesn't, it's simply a one-year deal.

I think that’s fair. He’s not 23 years old.
