Given the timeline, manager was the most pressing need to get done with the start of Spring training coming soon. Dusty isn't a long term hire...he's here for a year or two and Click gets the next one. Dusty was simply a stop gap, a known commodity with a ton of experience who gets you through the shitstorm of off the field noise this year and will fight for his players.

What is scary to me as a mortal is I remember the 20th and 25th Anniversary of the Astrodome patches. Yikes I am getting old.
