quote:Ive yet to see which players relied on this to hit, more than a rumor, I mean fact
Tell me everything is going to be alright with the stros
we know Springer doesn't like to know whats coming Brantly wasnt around
not putting a lot of thought into it Altuve' Bregs and Correa are some front line players that might participated have
none had horrible home away splits
I hazard to guess some of these batters might have over relied on "knowing what was coming"
If Hinch is suspended, so is Cora , I think the 'stros get fined'
and we get more hate on the road and these guys use it as motivation
and no matter what, we're still not the Rangers

I hate to say it, but the Astros will have to pay the ultimate price.
They will undoubtedly lose the mastermind behind all of their success.
Hinch will be hard to replace, but I have faith we can turn this terrible tragedy into something positive, hopefully before 3 consecutive 100 loss seasons.
Agreed. I feel saddened and betrayed. I thought the world of AJ Hunch I mean Hinch but we have to do what is right here. The orchestrator must be purged to preserve what is pure and noble about this game.

I'm going full shitposter on this sign stealing garbage. I'm tired of hearing about it and frankly don't care that much and neither do the pearl clutching virtue signalers droning on about it every day. We've been the feel good rags to riches story and now I embrace our position as the hatable bad guy.
Oh wise and brilliant waste receptacle, we thank you for the knowledge you have provided to us. We ask that your guidance is never forgotten and though your name is being sullied today, those who understand your divine powers will stand firm in your defense.

It would be so much easier to deal with if we hadn’t shite the bed this year
We would have won 2 in 3 years and gearing up to go full New England Patriots on MLB

This is the best course of action, don't entertain their stupidity and just mock them incessantly. It's been fun.

You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain. Let's be the bad guy

In the words of former Astros great Hank Conger, "frick 'em!"
ETA: I also wonder how many people in that thread are also Saints fans who contend that the Saints got screwed by the NFL and everybody else does it!

The freakout would be exponentially worse. I'm kinda disappointed based on that alone.

There isn't any discussion on the overall best team of the last 3 years
WS title, 3 ALCS appearances, w 2 pennants
No other team has done that in the past 3 seasons

Is it wrong for me to still feel a little upset we didn't win the world series? We were close.

The Astros added four players to their 40-man roster on Wednesday, several hours ahead of the 7 p.m. CT deadline to protect players from exposure to the Rule 5 Draft. Right-handed pitchers Cristian Javier, Enoli Paredes and Nivaldo Rodriguez as well as infielder Taylor Jones join the roster, which now stands at 38.
Among those left unprotected who rank in the Astros’ Top 30 prospect list per MLB Pipeline are shortstop/third baseman Jonathan Arauz and outfielder Ronnie Dawson. They will be eligible to be selected by another team during the Rule 5 Draft on Dec. 12 at the Winter Meetings in San Diego.

HUGE FREE AGENT SIGNING
Just kidding, just a backup catcher I’ve never heard of
quote:
The Astros have agreed to a one-year deal with free agent catcher Dustin Garneau, pending a physical, a source tells The Athletic.
quote:
Garneau projects as the Astros’ backup behind a yet-to-be-acquired starting catcher. As free agents come off the board, a reunion with Robinson Chirinos might be their best option.
quote:
More on Garneau: He’s 32 and on his fifth team. A glove-first catcher who showed some improvement with the bat last year in limited playing time. He had a .757 OPS in 101 PA with the Angels/A’s and a .907 OPS in 130 PA in Triple A in 2019.
