I'm gonna take a big shot in the dark and say we re-sign Chirinos, which would probably be best case scenario at catcher anyway.

Would rather have Stubbs as backup.

Geez. Our management places ZERO importance on catcher.

Our management is coming off 3 straight ALCS appearances with a World Series title* and World Series game 7 loss included I think they know what they’re doing

Aaron Sanchez was non-tendered. Becomes a free agent.

Oakland non-tendered Blake Trienen. Intriguing fixer upper candidate but sources have told me MLB has confiscated the magical analytics machine.

The Astros are among the teams still pursuing free agent righty Zack Wheeler, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network (via Twitter). Houston’s interest has long been known, but it wasn’t clear whether the club had staid in the bidding.

Hmmm.

Its obvious no one wants to be a part of an organization that cheats. I fully expect the franchise to internally implode next season.

I don't really want us to commit $100+ million to Wheeler but I'd est up the melt when the bad guy signs one of the top pitchers on the market. So many tears would come out of LA and New York.

Reading that the Yankees are "all in" on Cole, but question whether they can sign him over Angels/Dodgers.

Lets see if they can reach the same results without cheating.

Astros will not make the playoffs this season. The pitching is threadbare.

Well... we didn't commit $100M... but Philly did.

2 non-prospects coming back. “Not major”

Clearly the way for Tucker to become everyday RF and Reddick to become 4th?

Seems likely that they are still going to try to move Reddick and go into season with Brantley/Springer/Tucker/Straw

Really wish we could have found a way to deal Reddick instead. Love Jake and hate to see him go.

I guess they could still deal Reddick as well
