I think they will use the Astros to make an example. I agree they really shouldn’t be any different than the Red Sox thing but they will be

Since the Astros were "caught" banging trashcans in 2017 and whistling in 2019, I suspect we'll use a silent system in 2020 to relay pitch information.

We'll hide tiny electronic sensors in batting gloves so hitters can receive a morse code-like buzz transmitted via satellite.

Whatever punishment Hinch gets should be more for Beltran since it’s obvious he started the whole thing

Beltran was a player at that point. Hinch was the manager. He's the leader of the team and bears the burden of responsibility for what's going on in his dugout.

With all the info about sign stealing and chatter about all our post season opponents going to great lengths to vary their signs, it does make you wonder if that was what played into our disastrously unclutch offense. Really the only time our hitters found any consistency was when pitchers were tipping pitches early.

How about five different cutouts of Mike Fiers and a suspended AJ Hinch sits in centerfield with an earpiece and holds up the Fiers cutout that the incoming pitch correlates with

I really don’t expect the penalties to be that harsh unless they use the Astros to make an example

The thing is, if they use the Astros to make an example, then once they get to the bottom of all this they'll have to make a lot of teams an example.

And if they suspend Hinch, then Cora and Beltran are also going down. And likely others.

Jake Odorizzi accepts the QO to return to Minnesota. Time to start scouting for our annual reclamation project. Keeping our eyes in Twins free agents..

Kyle Gibson... was good in 2018 and up to midseason this year when he tanked

Michael Pineda.... given his history and current events, we could market him as the face of the franchise. Pine tar ejection and PED suspension. Get that man a trash can.

I expect Hinch is going to be suspended for a significant portion of 2020, if not fired.

More like he’ll be suspended for a year and in a show of solidarity crane will sign him to a 10 year contract

I hate to say it, but the Astros will have to pay the ultimate price.

They will undoubtedly lose the mastermind behind all of their success.

Hinch will be hard to replace, but I have faith we can turn this terrible tragedy into something positive, hopefully before 3 consecutive 100 loss seasons.

All this time, Ryno talking about,”they did it their way.”... he actually knew what the hell he was talking about for a change.
