I’m still Team Gurriel.

Lineup construction is important though. I don't like his bat profile at first base unless the lack of pop is made up elsewhere. Dump Reddick, and it becomes much easier.

I guess congrats, but you can kindly get the frick out of this thread now k thanks.

And I do agree even if we get Goldschmidt, I'd like us to resign Springer before we consider resigning Goldschmidt,, along with maybe Bregman.

Anyone pretty sure that it’s going to be Bregman guest picking this Saturday? Either he or Les Miles.

Look at this guy.......

Well, before long, Hinch will be looking for advice from the mirror.

Hopefully Strom stays solid

For sure.

Also they didn’t pick up the option on Harris’ contract, which also wasn’t surprising

Harris is still arbitration eligible so we still have the rights to him through next year. If they choose to non-tender him, he'll become a free agent.

Sources: The Indians are not expected to tender a $17.9m qualifying offer to outfielder Michael Brantley by today's deadline.

Kind of want

Brantley replaces Marwin, makes Tucker expendable for a JT Trade. Although Brantley would likely come at a Reddick-like deal. 4 years 60+ million.

Bovada has some odds out on where players will land this offseason.

LINK

quote:

It is thought to be a foregone conclusion that Dallas Keuchel has pitched his last game with the Astros.
What a run it was for the 2015 Cy Young winner, who debuted in the middle of the worst stretch of baseball in the franchise's history and was a key contributor in the turnaround that eventually resulted in a World Series title.

Where will Keuchel end up next?

Bovada has the Yankees listed even with the Astros at 9/4 for the lefthander's services in 2019, ahead of the Angels.

What is just as interesting, is who would the Astros go after to replace Keuchel?

How about Clayton Kershaw? Bovada has the Dodgers as a strong favorite to retain him, but should he be looking for new scenery he has until 4 p.m. Friday to decide if he wants to opt out of hid Dodgers contract or take the $69.5 million over the next two years the Astros are at the top of the list.
The Rangers, who play down the street from Kershaw's hometown of Dallas, are also 15/4.

Where will Dallas Keuchel play game 1 of the 2019 MLB season?

Team Odds
Astros 9/4
Yankees 9/4
Angels 12/5
Dodgers 13/2
Phillies 13/2
Giants 13/2

Where will Clayton Kershaw play game 1 of the 2019 MLB season?

Team Odds
Dodgers 2/3
Astros 15/4
Rangers 15/4
Cubs 8/1
Giants 8/1
Yankees 17/2
Reds 16/1

Where will Bryce Harper play game 1 of the 2019 MLB season?

Team Odds
Phillies 1/1
Cubs 3/1
Nationals 4/1
Giants 15/2
Yankees 8/1
Dodgers 17/2
Red Sox 15/1
Angels 15/1

Where will Manny Machado play game 1 of the 2019 MLB season?

Team Odds
Phillies 3/2
Dodgers 9/4
Yankees 3/1
Marlins 8/1
Angels 9/1
Braves 14/1
Nationals 14/1

Where will Josh Donaldson play game 1 of the 2019 MLB season?

Team Odds
Cardinals 6/5
Indians 5/2
Phillies 5/2
Rays 5/1

While we're talking baseball, oddsmakers at MyBookie.AG posted the following odds on the 2019 World Series. As you might imagine, before free agency kicks in, the Red Sox, Astros, Yankees and Dodgers are the class of MLB.

Odds to win 2019 World Series

Team Odds
Red Sox 11/2 (+550)
Astros 6/1 (+600)
Yankees 7/1 (+700)
Dodgers 15/2 (+750)

Indians 11/1 (+1100)
Brewers 11/1 (+1100)
Braves 12/1 (+1200)
Cardinals 18/1 (+1800)
Nationals 18/1 (+1800)
Phillies 18/1 (+1800)
Rockies 20/1 (+2000)

Sources: The Los Angeles Dodgers and Clayton Kershaw are nearing a deal that would keep him in Los Angeles. One source said it's "very close." The expectation was that he would stay, and as the 4 p.m. ET deadline nears, it's looking like a reality.
