Lunhow and team have sent Mrs Texas to Seattle this winter to work with the boys at driveline baseball. Undergoing some serious biomechanical evaluation and then live at bats against Trevor Bauer.

It means last year, because of Reddick's below-par season and the crappy offense out of the Catcher position, we had 2 slots in the lineup that were black holes. When they got Chirinos, yes, that kind of upgraded the catcher position, but without a true low-strikeout professional hitter, Chirinos' impact would be minimized because he'd have to play more in the 6 or 7 hole. Now that they have Brantley, it means Chirinos can slide back down in the lineup and become a true threat at the bottom of the lineup as opposed to a "kind of threat" in the middle of the lineup.

At least, that's my awkward logic. Wait until they sign Cruz for DH. That's when the Chirinos move becomes a better deal.

Or, when they move Chrinos to Miami -- that's when it becomes a Stud deal.
