Dusty did some infuriating stuff in the regular season, but he was damn near perfect in the playoffs. Possible questionable decisions are

1. Leaving JV in too long in DS game 1
2. Leaving JV in too long in WS game 1
3. Leaving lance in too long in WS game 3
4. Leaving montero in too long in WS game 5
5. Not giving Vasquez a few more games
6. DH spot…but he tried everyone and they all sucked. Only the yuli injury allowed him to DH Vazquez with Korey Lee called up.

1. The absolute disrespect on Christian Javier's name. Putting LMJ ahead of him in the rotation was dumb.

I want to hear the argument for LMJ after what Jaiver was doing the last half of the season. Hell it is not like his first half was bad but he was unhittable post all star break.

It did not end up mattering but Javi on full rest in game 7 would have felt a lot safer than LMJ.

Don't forget that Javi started the postseason in the bullpen. Sure he may have been there just because it would have been his usual off day BP session, but still. Seeing him walking out the pen right before game 1 was enough to boil my blood.

Who gets extended first between Framber, Javier and Tucker?

I think one of Framber or Javier takes a deal similar in structure to Yordan. Get their money sooner and we get team control locked up.

Framber, Javier, Tucker in that order.

I'm 50/50 on Tucker even considering an extension before testing the FA waters.

Also Altuve will almost certainly sign a new deal in the next few years.

I don't know. His name is on the roster, but I have no clue who he is.

Yeah, I don't expect any real drama or complications moving forward with the core

Tucker was given the same deal as Yed and declined, so he's gone when his time comes. He'll never produce on Yed's level, so this should work out to simplify matters

The only bad deal on the books is LMJ

I'm more like 80/20 on Tucker going FA. There is just nothing about him that makes me think he cares where he plays. He doesn't live here. Although he seems to enjoy it, he doesn't really seem connected to anything really. I think "He Gone" when his time is up.

I would be a fan of resigning Brantley and adding Rizzo. Would like to have Vazquez for next year but I doubt he wants to play once a week.

Verlander if the deal works out.

If I’m Click and get offered a 1 year deal I’m tempted to tell Crane to frick off

Hope he stays though. I’m glad the Contreras deal didn’t go through but it’s nice to see he was trying to make big moves to improve the roster and did probably the best he could by adding Trey and Vasquez (ignoring how Trey played for us)

Do they not have plenty of capital to make some decent moves as well?

That was 50/50 on him even considering it. Far less on him taking a deal.

Pretty impressive we have most of the team locked up for a few more years. My take:

Adios: Aledmys, Vazquez, Mancini, uncle Mike, Castro, will smith

New contracts: JV, Montero

Well, that would depend on Verlander's decision mostly

As well as this team has done in the international market, I don't really want to go over cap
