That’s what we’re all afraid of and every month it seems like that’s who Crane is evolving into.

Hey man, we haven't won a postseason series since 2005. And we have a poverty payroll. Let us have this.

Crane can’t get out of his own way. This team is stuck in baseball purgatory.

Hard not to root for the White Sox going forward In my opinion, fun group of young players who rose to the occasion

No doubt.

From Hagen Smith to rookie QABs strung together top to bottom

Well deserved

But as bad as the AL is this year, everybody aside from the Astros at their place is going to be a step up

Look forward to watching any team play actual baseball

It’s gonna be a LONG time until this franchise is competitive again. They could’ve jump started the rebuild this year at the trade deadline but decided to ride it out. Was it worth it to win a division title and then look like total dog shite in the playoffs? Same may say it was, others will say no. I fear the Astros are AT LEAST 5-6 years away from competitiveness when you combine this roster and one of the worst two or three farm systems in the league. Oh- and add in an owner that listens to Bagwell and maybe I should’ve said 8-10 years.

Last decade was a fun ride, but it’s gonna be gloom and doom for a while now.

Just need a couple of good trades to bring in young players. But those are 1/2 luck really; some work out, most don't.

Now the Playoffs on Peacock. Never saw one pitch.

it's not hard to watch. buy a streaming device. get a IPTV app that has every channel imaginable, and every sports package college and pro. i get all pro packages.......dirt cheap. i pay 50 bucks for 6 months of service. NFW am i paying all that $$$ for MLB extra innings, NBA league pass, NHL centre ice or NFl sunday ticket? nope. basically get it for pennies.

or just get the AK47 sports app downloaded to your streaming device. i am watching yankees-red sox on it right now. free.

or just watch on sportsurge off your laptop.

It was the obvious move. Been discussed ad nauseam, but you don’t get to be an eternal optimist for free.

Crane left a ton of value on the table for this embarrassment. Had a Tucker haul or better for Pena and now Brown is worth what we got for Framber.

In my estimation, these 2 embarrassing losses cost Crane any shot at rebuilding around Yed. He will need to be dealt now to facilitate a competitive rebuild

But that’s OK. It takes some people longer than others to read the signs. It was Scorched Earth before, it can be done again. Probably will miss my window to see it again in person though

Off topic…

I partly blame this series loss on Lady.

She’s been MIA too damn long.

Objectively considering the injuries and that this is a thin team they did a remarkable job winning the division

There are plenty of problems

but give it up . it was most improbable

that allthe other teams in the west would be worse

but here we are

YouTube tv among others has nbc sports network.

For regular season get the schn+ app. $20 a month and cancel after baseball season.

This Organization is in for a long period of woe. Wholesale, and I mean wholesale changes have to be made on the MLB roster and definitely the Scouting plus player development needs drastic changes. There just isn't anyone with the balls to tell Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dumb, to keep their slimy selves from playing GM and f'ing everything all to shite. And yes they deserved to get booed, and some, ahem Hunter Brown, need a swift kick in the arse out the door with their attitude with them

I’m not crediting the Astros for the failures of their divisional foes

Vegas O/U on wins was 86.5 this season. Espada accounts for the 5 game deficit by himself

As far as ownership is concerned, I’m not interested in watching slow decay. I deal with that enough on a daily basis

I think all this could have been done with a non meddling owner and a good GM who was actually permitted to do his job.

The alleged Abreu for Larnach deal nixing was all I needed to hear. I’m not talking about the merits of it or arguing whether it should’ve been done or not. I’m talking about his involvement in a run of the mill deal.I get him having input if it’s Yed/Pena or someone similar and I also get if it was an Altuve sort of thing where you want him to finish his career here. But this jackass nixed a trade to keep Bryan fricking Abreu here. He’s an ok reliever, not Mariano Rivera. If he can’t be trusted to stay out of what would’ve been an insignificant deal in the long run, I have zero faith in his ability to be involved in anything that would involve trading key pieces to shape the future.
