Basically its guaranteed that the 4 guys we gave up are going to be mlb all stars.
By all means we gave up a solid return but the money comes off the books before the 2 pitchers would make an impact and as much as I love beer-AJ Reed dominated corpus as well...

I’ll never forget that one dude who writes there melting the frick down about giving up Jacob Nottingham in the Kazmir deal and basically declaring him the next Johnny Bench. I love prospects but they generally take it to the extreme

Of the 4 we gave up I would venture to say that maybe 1 out of 4 would be potentially great with the other 3 doubtful to be anything more than serviceable. But we know what zack can do for us now and that is more fruitful than 4 what if’s. Look at our acquisitions of Singleton and Wallace for God’s sake
