Things we are depending on:
1. Health, specifically DK and Lance
2. Devo becoming reliable again
3. Suddenly becoming good defensively
4. Martes continuing to progress (this is very underrated IMO)
5. In terms of postseason, Peacock and Morton being assets out of bullpen
6. Liriano having a positive impact
*I'd include becoming smart baserunners but I figured I'd keep it realistic

Liriano will join the club tomorrow but he pitched on Saturday so it sounds like he won't even be able to pitch until Thursday or so.

I'm very angry with Jeff Luhnow.
It's like he wants to be known as the GM with the best Farm instead of the GM with the team most likely to win a World Series.
Makes me want to not attend games at Minute Maid for the rest of the regular season, but if you don't go out and support the team, you're just punishing the players who are playing their asses off trying to win games.
I wish I could write a letter to Ludlow, telling him what a piece of shite he is. Not sure if their is a format in which to expend that energy. Maybe on Matt Thomas's GM Show in a couple of weeks, I'll have the proper stage in which to tell him to go f*ck himself, live on the air.

At this point we might be better with Lance on the DL. I think we've lost his last 5 or 6 starts.

Its going to matter a lot if we have to play the godforsaken Royals in Kansas City. We suck there, and the same could be said for Cleveland. In fact, I don't think we should play Cleveland at all.

Liriano will be able to pitch Wednesday, I'm sure. It'll be like a bullpen session between starts, only it's permanent.

Liriano looked like a brilliant cheap move to parlay a few big time moves later in the day. Those moves never came
Brian Cashman dragged his nuts all over luhnow throughout this trade season.
