Got to love gifting base hits by not only shifting but calling pitches to the vacated location. It makes absolutely no sense at all. Any pitch to the open side of the shift should be a foot or more off the plate.

If they’d have pitch around arenado we’d have the lead.

Well the earned run was on the shift. Not terrible but can’t make that pitch to arenado

Chick second row behind home plate looks pretty good on first glance.

Anyone confirm?

I have been frustrated w the lack of QABs, but mindful of his contributions w RISP the last couple seasons.

Never even entered my mind to replace him, honestly.

He has been back and forth so much at the corners, even at 2nd base. Some guys let their fielding affect their performance at the plate

Our pitcher who's never swung a bat professionally gets to face 98.
