They’ve had some tough assignments the last week or so

20 minutes to decide if it’s a balk. Come on man. He simply went out of the windup. Let’s move on

Hearing he may be out for the season with thoracic outlet syndrome

This group of Pirates pitchers we've faced are some fricking demons

Is ChatGPT struggling with going through the rulebook?

Thought we were gonna get a rare LF triple

What does that say about your lineup when a guy DFA’d a couple days ago not only ends up immediately in your lineup the day he signs, but is batting 5th?
LMAO

Why the frick is Joe letting him see these lefties again after he was lucky to get out to the last inning.

Well pirates still hitting. We’ll need another miracle comeback

Couldn’t manage a rec league team. I’ve lost count of how many times he has left guys in too long.

Now you burn Okert for a leverage spot in a potential closer game tomorrow
It’s once a week with this moron manager man. He wants to talk about showing urgency from the players when he doesn’t manage with any. I understand the starters have to get you deeper. They aren’t. Okert is in a good spot rest wise, see if he can get you two effecient innings like he has already multiple times this year. Gosh damnit man

Because Joe is an idiot. Master of letting a starting pitcher start the next inning and giving up a HR instead of going out on a relative high note.

I literally can’t think of anything he does well.
It went largely unnoticed because we couldn’t hit anything Sunday but he pinch hit Dezenzo for Vazquez. Dezenzo should pretty much never pinch hit for another RH hitter.

Passan article about trade deadline possibilities for each team:
ETA: You want to know why Cocksuck is Cocksuck? Because that Cocksucker shaved his Jimbo in the midst of a damn fine season. His wife must have gotten to him and given him an ultimatum.
quote:
Objective: Be realistic about this team and its future.
Best player potentially available: Jeremy Peña, SS
What to know: Owner Jim Crane will not punt until it's abundantly clear the Astros should. One could argue that's already the case, but Houston is just five games back of first place in the AL West and recently returned closer Josh Hader from the injured list. Ace Hunter Brown isn't far off, and Jose Altuve is on the mend as well, and soon enough the Astros will be as close to full strength as they're going to be this season. Is that enough? Because if it's not, Houston at the very least ought to explore moving Peña, a 28-year-old All-Star who will hit free agency following the 2027 season. The Astros at one point believed they had an extension with Peña done, but it fell apart when he hired agent Scott Boras, who has taken past Astros infielders elsewhere in free agency due in part to Crane's reluctance to offer deals longer than six years. Houston could launch an overnight retool were it willing to deal AL MVP favorite Yordan Alvarez, but opposing executives don't see that happening. The lack of available power bats could make first baseman Christian Walker or third baseman Isaac Paredes a tempting acquisition, but hitters tend to have fewer in-season suitors, leaving marginal relievers (Bryan Abreu, Steven Okert, Enyel De Los Santos) the likeliest Astros to move.
