At this point, that’s what we need. For him to look good and deal to the teams like the A’s and Pirates maybe try to get thru 7 innings.

Too early to tell. I’ve always been a fan, just pray he can stay healthy.

Well we know he has the makeup the mental strength the ability he's just had physical issues if he's recovered from that and can build back he'll be money at the end of the season in playoffs

I’ve been as critical as any. He will always be an integral part of ‘17, which probably doesn’t happen without him.

He’s not going to hold average MLB hitters down with nothing but offspeed, but this team does benefit from the innings he can provide until help arrives

Can he find a role in the pen? Man, his stuff is just not plus, but I guess if he can spot it enough to get swing and miss, I don’t see anybody not giving him that chance. We don’t have arms stacked up

He could also throw all off-speed as a reliever in the playoffs and potentially be effective.

I guess

I was trying to think of a comparable, but couldn’t

Some element of McHugh I suppose

I'd be curious how he'd do as a modern day Doug Jones.

I have mixed feelings on how McCullers will fare but the A's offense he dominated is far from bad. Even if he's just a #4/5 type that can soak up some average innings they need that badly right now

Maybe dominated is strong, but to generate that much swing and miss and bad ABs against an above average MLB offense was by far the most encouraging start he's had so far to me

I know but he's not THAT slow. Throw him into the middle of a game after Hunter Brown and see how hitter react.

There’s no doubt his starts after the 1st have been phenomenal

I mean he couldn’t make 5 innings when he had his best stuff ever

He deserves the opportunity he’s going to get. I’m just skeptical by nature and there’s plenty to be skeptical about when it comes to the whiffle ball shite he’s been throwing. LOL

Almost criminal the run support he’s gotten this year.

Going to be a top contender for the Cy Young with a 8-15 record and a 1.55 ERA.

Sick. That's a whiffle ball movement.

Anyone having to resort to a different app to watch some MLB.tv games. I have the subscription and almost half the time, I'm having to use an "underground" app to watch the game.
